The audience chamber on board of the Dark Brotherhood Flagship Nightfall was enormous, and it took several minutes for the chamber to fill with Elders of the Dark Side. Moving into predesignated areas assigned by rank and order, the Dark Brotherhood's most powerful came to silence as two black armored guards moved into the room and marshaled the arrival of the Dark Council.
Grand Master Sarin, The Dark Lord of the Sith, stepped into the chamber and walked at a measured pace between the assembled rows of Dark Brotherhood Elders. The Dark Council walked paces behind him and moved to their positions on the central dais of the chamber.
Sarin moved to the Iron throne, his cold gaze fixed upon those who he deemed worthy of attendance. Few earned that moment of recognition and even fewer would ever see additional power bestowed upon them. Equality was a lie and the Grand Master never found that axiom more true than when he looked at two Elders of the same rank, but obviously not of the same power.
Expectation hung in the air as the Elders of the Brotherhood considered the reasons that this assembly was called. Would the reclamation of Antei begin today? Would an unfortunate Consul have his life expectantly cut short?
Tapping a console on his Throne, the Grand Master motioned to guards at the far end of the audience chamber. The guards stepped forward and grasped the handles on two towering kreel wood doors and opened the chamber for the arrival of the Deputy Grand Master.
Entering the room unarmed and unarmored, Muz Sadow moved towards the Grand Master's throne. Kneeling at the feet of his Master and dropping his head, Muz echoed words spoken for thousands of years.

"What is thy bidding, my master."
To many in the rooms surprise, the Grand Master unsheathed his diamond sword from a hidden sheath upon his throne. With the skill capable of only those who have reached Mastery, Sarin guided his blade at near impossible speeds across the form of the Deputy Grand Master. To those in attendance, it merely appeared that the Grand Master was attempting to frighten his Deputy, but to the Dark Council and many within paces of the Iron Throne, it was apparent the Grand Master was actually carving intricate patterns into the flesh of his apprentice. To those of the Krath Order and Star Chamber the patterns took on an even greater meaning. The Dark Lord was placing runes of Sith Sorcery upon his apprentice.
"Equality is a lie," the Grand Master's cold voice echoed across the chamber as his diamond sword continued to cut and shred its way through his apprentices robes. "Equality is a method that allows the weak to cling to the strong."
"Today, many of you re-learn this lesson. Today, I bestow power upon the strong. Today, I elevate the most powerful of the Masters. Today, I elevate Muz Sadow to Dark Prophet."

News

Dark Prophet: If you take the time to do a search on the Dark Jedi Brotherhood roster page, you will notice that we have three active Dark Prophets. The low number of individuals holding this rank is an indication of the work, dedication, and superior productivity needed to earn the final elevation in the Order of Elders. Today, we welcome one more. Congrats to Dark Prophet Muz Sadow.
I think it is safe to say that we all understand Muz's impact to the Dark Brotherhood since he has joined. To remind yourself, just take a look at this website and your profile. If you aren't much for graphics, try taking a look at the photos of Muz and Troy Denning. Then realize that Muz drove several hours to that Troy Denning book signing to ensure that the Dark Brotherhood would be represented. This is the dedication of Muz. This is why Muz gets to step up to the big boy club and wear the stripes of "Soon to be Grand Maser".
Everyone take the time to congratulate Muz on this rare and perhaps highest honor we can give a member of the Dark Brotherhood.

Templar Angelo Dante is the new T:G: Congratulations to Dante who has slid into the role of T:G. I have asked Dante to take a look at external gaming (Imperial Dominion, come get some :p) as well as Console gaming for the Dark Brotherhood. Our goal is to continue to honor Star Wars games and Star Wars as the main theme of this club, but due to the lack of Multiplayer capable Star Wars games, we are going to see an increase in non-Star Wars game competitions. More to come soon.

Seals: Muz has awarded all of the IG Seals. If you are missing one, please let him know.

Bloodfyre is the new Combat Master: I have already mentioned the superior application submitted by Sith Bloodfyre in his bid to become Combat Master, but I also want to point out that BF has been sending me ideas for the ACC for over a year. These ideas now get to see the light of day. Look for his upcoming reports to indicate the direction the ACC will be moving in.

Coding: I have received quite a few emails about coding over the last several weeks. If you are interested in doing some coding work, I have some fairly simple projects ready to be worked on. If you are not capable of coding something like our Codex, please don't email me. We need Coders who are ready to work, not guys who need to learn how to make font colors blue.

Codex: Okay, three updates are ready to go on the codex pending coding. We have our new history ready for release, the descriptions and explanations of the Order Disciplines (9 specific "professions" within our three basic orders), and an update to the Dark Council page (thanks Erinyes). Hopefully we see this work soon.

GJW: The GJW team has been working on the early January planned GJW plot. Feel free to email me with any ideas or things you would like to see. Please limit Zombie Ninja Pirate Sith Lord requests to one per member.

Awards

Congratulations: Awards: Congratulations to all who scored a Seal.
Congratulations: Promotions: Taig on DJK, Zasati on JH, and um.....Muz on Dark Prophet!
Congratulations: Work: The Consuls on putting together their upcoming three way Wars, Erinyes for the volunteer work, Joseem on my pimp ass avatar, and BF for his fast start as CM.
Raken Quote of the Week:
[<@Raken> no, that's cool...i have friends...adjusts mannequin friend's pose

Real Life

-> <-
Allies and Friends: The Dark Brotherhood has allied with many clubs over the years and we have remained friends with a great many other. During our ten plus years we have kept cordial relationships with almost every club we have come into contact with and to this day I even try to be nice to that Club we used to be a part of.
Unfortunately we also have to make decisions that can be at odds with the beliefs of other Clubs out there. On top of this the Dark Brotherhood also has to make a call on who we ally with and who we do not. Tonight, I had to make one of those calls.
When I became GM I decided to put into place a policy that stated we would not ally with clubs that were almost completely comprised of Dark Brotherhood members. It does not make sense to ally with what is essentially another Dark Brotherhood Clan.
I did not apply this policy to the allies we had at the time of my selection as Grand Master and this was a mistake. It places the DB in a position where we have to remain friendly with organizations that take on our cast offs and expelled members. As you can imagine, being an ally with someone you expelled six years ago can be a tricky relationship. In some cases, it is just too tricky.
Last night the DB received an email from one of our allies and we were instructed to deal with a certain individual who has been expelled in perpetua from our club. Because of this, I called a quick session of the Dark Council together and engaged seven Dark Councilors and received seven votes to remove this particular club from our list of allies. I followed this DC session by talking with one of our Star Chamber members and he too agreed on removal.
In the end, I could have removed this ally without talking to the Star Chamber or the DC, but I felt it was necessary to receive input from our key leaders. In this case, everyone agreed that an Allied organization made up of mostly our members or our expelled members is not an organization we need to continue an official relationship with.
So what does this mean? Nothing really. We are dropping someone from our website list of allies and that is about the extent of it. You can still join this club and it will not be hurt you in the DB. The only thing you should remember is that everyone can still be held accountable for making the DB look bad, so I ask that you don't go destroy their mIRC channel (in the same manner I don't want you in the EH's channels). So be good team players and don't cause any problems.

Final Thoughts

Thats it from the GM: Have a great week everyone! Grab me on mIRC or email if you need me.

Done!

Psssst. Ashia. We all caught the idea of Muz being the "Soon to be GM" when he was made DGM. You know. That being the position that trains to potentially become GM. :)
Congratulations, you walking goatee you! Muz, not Ashia.

congrats Muz
I can think of no current member more deserving of a DP than Muz. :) All kidding aside, few rarely get to see what it is that you really do for this club. Those that are understand that this is an honor that you are more than overdue for. Congrats.
My god, Muzman, you're finally at the top. I think about 2 years ago I said to you you'd become GM? You told me nah, there's plenty of people in line before you...
Now you're everything but GM.
Awesome work man, I know how hard you've worked to make this club the best. It was apparent back then, and it made you stand out, and it's still true today. Wear the rank with pride, my man.
Awesome job, Muz. You rock!
Congratulations Muz - this is truly a well deserved promotion.
Congrats Muz, well deserved.
CONGRATSSSSSSSS Muzzz, you earned it!
Congrats Muz, the DB definately would not be the same without you. 10 Points for the new DP.
And a round. Congratulations.
