• The above are scores for just the first-half event. There are still the 4 second-half events, as well as the full-time events to be completed. The competition is still very much in the air, but it is only through your participation and efforts that your House can succeed. You can all of the necessary HERE.

• A big congratulations goes out to Ace who was the All-Star in this week’s ICTE (play some games to help your House too :P)

• Narad is going through a lot of difficulties in RL right now, so keep him in your thoughts. As he is out of commission, Zasati has taken his place as a BTL in Ektrosis, so congratulations to her

• We had a few new members join Taldryan, so please welcome HangTime, Cero and dark gamesk to the Clan!

• A big congrats goes out to Muz on getting DPed…er…getting elevated to DP, right :P While technically the second-highest rank in the club, it is really the last rank where one can really be “promoted” to and also the rarest (the GM rank is given only when someone becomes the GM and can’t be given it otherwise).

• IG Seals were rewarded (thereby burying me in medal approvals). Great job to everyone who received one, and thanks to Muz for getting those all rec’ed (even your CON had a small part to play :P).

• The Justicar is looking for a new Right Hand of Justice, so if interested apply!

• There was a T:Wiki, T:G, GM and DGM report released this week, so head on over to the DB site and read up on those reports as they will normally contain a lot of useful information for everyone

Congrats to everyone on their medals and promotions! It’s been a good year so far for awards, and I hope to see plenty more come through my mail

Overall it’s been a good week. Work’s been busy as hell and it doesn’t look like it’ll be slowing down however. In terms of the Clan, while I know it’s summer it will be really nice to see more of you jump in and participate in the competitions, especially since a large number of can use all the activity you can get for promotions and medals. Also, many of the submissions and ideas used in these events will eventually be translated into the official Taldryan fictional world. While a lot of work has been done with our fictional reality, there is still a lot to do. This will also include putting together a number of members who can bring ideas to the table and develop them into working documents.

Some of your may have noticed a previous blip in Summit reporting. We were slipping and only managing to get a report out once every other week. However, Chaos and I are buckling down and ensuring we have a report released every week. Overall, Taldryan has the best reporting track-record in the entire Brotherhood. While there has been a little slippage here and there, we are still the strongest Clan from top-to-bottom when it comes to our reports.

Why do I mention this? Reports are an intergral part of being a leader, allowing your to communication to your members exactly what is happening. A good report will give someone everything they need to be caught up for that week. And while the leaders put a lot of effort into these reports, everyone should also be taking those few minutes to read through them. Reports are done not for our own benefit, but instead to help everyone else.

So, read those reports, do those events and have a great week!
