Disciples of Plagueis,

It is time for another installment from your Clan Consul. Truth be told, I have not had need to post a report in the passing weeks. And that means only good things; as I generally use this as my forum to direct and lead within the Clan. So what does my silence signify? That our leadership team - Yzarc, Godo, Alaris, Alex and Ralph - are performing their duties with excellence. I get to leave the day-to-day operations in their capable hands... allowing me to focus on writing and more involved projects.

Be sure to thank them for all of their hard work. They put a lot of weight on their shoulders and carry it for us all each day!

Clan News

Vendetta. In case you missed the announcement... we are at war! Recently, we have engaged in a Clan Feud with both Scholae Palatinae and Arcona. The Clan Consuls have also put in some personal bets, but the most important part is that we have secured some high-level Crescents from the Master At Arms! And who doesn't love shineys?!?!

The competition spreads across many, many formats that we have in the Dark Brotherhood: Gaming, Antei Combat Center, Fiction, Poetry, Run On, etc. It is my hope that I will see each of your dabbling, if not dominating, in all of these arenas. I am less concerned with whether your win or lose... this is a great opportunity for each of you to experience the climate and tempo of a large competition.

So check out all the events, be sure to read your e-mails with the [Clan Feud] tag and, most importantly, get out there and have some fun!

Deputy Grand Master Report: Muz has continued to be a diligent project worker and has displayed his ability in his latest report. Sneak peaks of the image generator have been released - definitely worth a look. No other news beyond that.

Tribune: Fiction Reminder: Raken took some time from his busy, busy schedule to deliver us a reminder that both of his competitions "Death of a Clan" & "Prophetical" are still running. Additionally, these can be extremely easy Second-Level crescents if you simply take the time to complete your submissions!

The Message

The open door. I promise each of you that every leader in this Clan is committed to seeing you grow as individuals and members. I want you to succeed and I want you to have fun while doing it. And I also guarantee that your leadership team will honor your differences as individuals... all while acting with integrity, humility and sincerity.

Every layer of our leadership welcomes your input, suggestions and criticism. I, myself, have a very, very open... open-door... policy. That means you can come to me and talk about anything without fear of reprisal or personal animosity. My chosen Brotherhood profession is to be not only a leader of many, but their representative on the Dark Council. I am your cheerleader, your coach and your supporting player... my focus is to make you the star of your own destiny within this club.

However... I cannot do it by myself. And neither can your leaders. Largely, the future you want will be impacted by what you deliver in the present. If you submit to lots of competitions and are ultra-active in the Clan... you will find success easy. If you are waiting on someone to tell you what to do or give you an award you feel you have 'earned'... then you may find that by sitting on your haunches you will continue to go unnoticed.

Life is what you make it.

THE FIN

We are a strong, proud Clan within the Dark Brotherhood. We have a unique history, as well. We are the youngest Clan, birthed from two former Clans, and our heritage not only gives us strength, but gives us a focus for our future. Should we, as a group, continue to be satisfied with the status quo... we may find ourselves 'consolidated' like our former Clans. But should we strive for excellence, as individuals and a group, then we may be the first Clan to demonstrate the proper way of executing a plan for growth.

It is something to think about... but our answer starts with this Clan Feud against Scholae Palatinae and Arcona. If we are tired of holding the status quo... lets go out and participate!

Glory is out there... take it, its yours! For Plagueis!
