[BAC Doomsday, 1130 hours, crew barracks]

The barracks were empty, its soldiers having by now all been sent over to the MC-80 Renegade. The beds were mostly unmade, and various belongings were strewn about on the floor having been abandoned in haste once the call had come. The original volunteers had fallen prey to unseen and misunderstood dangers, and the panicked reaction of this ship's leaders had been the same as so many past Generals: throw more troops at it.

Volunteers had been replaced by conscripts until everybody capable of wielding a weapon had been shipped over to the ghost ship. The barracks where they had all shared their tales of daring on Prakith lay forgotten in disarray. The ship hummed gently as it glided through hyperspace, following the MC-80 to Yridia under Marshal Oberst's command; more force of will than real authority at this point. Somewhere in the room, a screen flickered to life and a single electronic beep disrupted the silence of the barracks for an instant.

I would also like to congratulate Septim Jagastus on his promotion to the rank of Novice. He has displayed an uncommon enthusiasm for learning about the Dark Side that more than warrants this elevation of rank. I look forward to the continuation of your training, Septim.

I would like to take a moment and thank everyone for their excellent participation in the run-on. You guys all seem to be really getting into this, and it has been an exciting read so far. Please don't forget about Ronovi's three competitions for the Arcano Signum: Dark Side Poetry, What's Our Motto?, and A Day in the Life. There are medals up for grabs in every competition, but you can't win anything if you don't participate!

Things are a bit tough with the main web site being down, but don't panic. From what I've heard, everything should be able to be fully restored. They're just taking their time fixing it and making sure they get all the security holes patched up before they put it back online. I'm sure you'll agree that it's better to take a bit longer and do the job right than to rush it and get burned a third time by a mistake. Don't worry about the records. If you have done anything since I started as Rollmaster, then I have it. Furthermore, Anshar said that if you have done anything since he took over as Consul, he has a record of it too. We've got you covered.

Yes, I did manage to type out that report while having a lightsaber fight with Drelus. I'm just that good. :P
