My friends,

It’s been a while since my last report. My apologies, however RL and DB have taken a turn for the omgwtfbusy. The RL side of things I’ll get to later on, however DB stuff can be covered here. First and foremost, the Feud. We should have results out soon thanks to Lucien and the judge’s sterling efforts, however I feel the real thanks are owed to you all. Your participation has made the feud a success, and I want to thank you all for the effort you’ve put in. it’s been a grind, a toil, and you’ve all come together as a clan in a way that can only make Mejas and I incredibly proud.

Speaking of which, as I’m sure you’re all aware, Mejas has had to step down due to RL. He’s been our Consul for just short of a year, and in that year has accomplished so much it’s not true – remember where we were a year ago: a broken clan, exhausted after the GJW with a disorganised summit (myself, regretfully, a part of the problem). In that time, he’s whipped me into shape, reformed the summit and the clan, redistributed members so that the houses are now equal, run several clan-comps, improved inter-clan relations through sheer force of will and is still not done. He will be staying with us as the Guardian of Arcona and acting as a consultant for the Summit, however he will not be joining a House for now. Mejas, on behalf of all of Arcona, thanks so much for all of your sterling work. The clan is back on track and I’m certain we wouldn’t have made it this far without your help.

On the same vein, Rho has also decided to step down due to his RL workload increasing. As this happened mid-feud, Mejas and I decided that we needed a leader in Galeres immediately, and asked a former Quaestor to step up once more. Malidir graciously accepted and is once again holding Galeres’ reigns. Rho, thanks for your work so far, and I hope you get the rest and relaxation you need in Soulfire :)

With Quejo’s return, he and Wolvie have embarked on an ambitious project in HQD: they’ve co-founded a JA exclusive Battleteam that will represent Arcona’s elite in JA. Furthermore, the two of them (Wolvie mainly, as I understand) have created an Arcona JA server! It’s located in britland, so all of the euros that were having problems with lag (again, myself included) on the American servers should hopefully have better luck on here. Good work to both of you guys, and I’ve heard that the server is already attracting potential members from the big wide world into our clan, so even more good news!

Talos has resigned as Aedile and transferred to CSP because they give out Nobility titles like peanuts, so the best of luck to him there, and applications for Galeres Aedile are not being taken at this time. Also, the DB site is back up and running, mad props to Jac and everyone that helped him out getting us back up and running – this club wouldn’t exist without his constant care of the site.

Etah has been made BTL of Blue Mist, so all of you be sure to congratulate and support him – I’m sure he’ll do great things with Arcona’s elite BT.

Lego has also been ridiculously busy this month, both by kicking ass in the feud and also fleshing out the Arcona wiki pages, adding NPCs, fleshing out pages, helping out with brainstorming sessions etc – he’s been highly active and is also one of the summit members involved in the development of this ACC ladder. All of you make sure to thank this rising star of Arcona for his hours and hours of work going above and beyond what is expected of a BTL.

Oh, before I forget, if you’re interested in taking the reins of the clan, send applications for Consul to Sarin, Muz and Raken before the 30th of this month.

Comps:

With the Feud just over, we’re taking a little breather until September (especially with the CON having stepped down), however Chris and I are planning on approaching Bloodfyre about hopefully holding an Arcona ACC ladder in early September. There are a few BT level comps floating about, I believe, so talk to your BTLs in regards to those.

Tasks:

I’ve been pretty soaked up on the Feud this past month, however I’ve also been working on the fictional advancement of the Arcona plotline and co-ordinating the efforts of the summit. Incidentally, summiters, expect a large meeting soon (once we have a new CON) to discuss the awards handed out for Feud participation and general activity.

RL:

I’ve been ridiculously busy this summer :P First and foremost, I’ve had university exams and deadlines to hack through (and due to this I’ll be very scarce from about the 2nd of Sept to the 10th). On top of this, I’ve moved house and been jetting between Darlington and Leeds (parent’s home and my home) as my grandmother recently had a fall and myself and my mom and uncle have been moving her out of her current house and getting her set up in a Residential Home so she’ll be more comfortable and more importantly safer. Oh, and I’ve also seen the doctor and am now officially an Insomniac! Stressing about shit isn’t condusive to a good night’s sleep, apparently. Go figure =P

Tomorrow’s my 21st birthday, so you guys probably won’t be seeing that much of me for a few days, as I plan on partying. Hard. However, you have two very good QUAs there to make up for my absence and failing that a dedicated team of AEDs/BTLs to help them out.
