Report #9 – September 1st, 2008

• Well, it’s my first reports since I’ve been back from my little vacation. A big thanks goes out to Chaos for looking after the place while I was gone and dealing with the weird situations that were popping up at the time

• The next issue of the Taldryan Times will be released in early October. As such, we’re looking for submissions! Anything and everything relating to the SW, the DB or the Clan is accepted. I will be including the submissions from Operation: Swift Justice, but I’d love to see a lot of other articles and pieces of work. As always, the top 3 submissions will receive crescents

• With Tarax having returned to civilization, he is once more Aedile of Dinaari. A big thank you to Kraval for stepping in and holding the position down while Tarax was on leave.

• For all of his hard work with the Herald office Jerse was awarded a Steel Cross, so big congrats go out to him!

• We had a lot of people AWOLed this week. Although Taldryan’s roster may look small next to everyone else, you must remember that we run very regular AWOL checks so anyone who isn’t active at all and doesn’t respond to e-mails doesn’t hang around the Clan. If all Clans did this then things would look a lot different, but they tend to enjoy having inflated rosters.

• DB SITE IS DOWN Yes, it appears a few new problems have arisen and they are being looked into. Kaek appears to have found the problem, but please don’t visit the main DB site until the all clear is given. The wiki and forums however should be more than safe. Also, ensure your own systems are infection free.

• There were a ton of reports released this week on the DB site, so once it’s back up I suggest you have a look at them

• Consul of Arcona is open for apps…apply at your own risk :P

• Raken has extended his August competitions to the rest of this month due to the site being down. Yay!

• Apparently CSP won the Special Olympics…er…the 3-way Feud with Arcona and CP. Congrats I guess :P

With the site down once more things may slow down, but that shouldn’t stop anyone from continuing to be active. The Taldryan site offers you all of the information necessary for current competitions, while places like the forums and wiki are still open to be used.

Not much to say this time around. This last week has been extremely busy at work, and it looks like the rest of this month won’t be letting up anytime soon. Good luck to everyone going back to school this week as well…sucks to be you :P
