Tra'an sat before the console on the bridge of his aging Brayl class freighter, Stellar Vibrations. He had fixed the hyperdrive unit again, and yet thre was still a small vibration he couldn't get rid of running through the frame of the ship. Cethgus was below as they traveled to retrieve Ood B'nar Syntherae from his captivity. A brief piece of intelligence had directed them to the place where he had finally disappeared, coordinates that had been unknown for some time. Such things were uncommon but did happen, and Clan Scholae Palatinae left no one behind.

With the Consul of Taldryan stepping down, we have a chance to wrest from them the title of First Clan in the next GJW! I ask you to prepare yourselves, and to set aside time when he dates become avilable, so that you can participate fully and completely!

The above fiction snippet reflects my current engagement in the M'Nar's Dark Tides competion! I expect that each of you can find the time to fill one fiction event per week! I encourage you to find partners from the other houses and participate in the Run On competition! I'd like Ceth, Ood, and I not to win by default, so come on!

Congratulation to Timbal! Since our ilustrious Quaestor refuses to toot his own horn, I'll do it for him! One of the Lost Two, Timbal has re-earned the Clan Name! So in true HAD fashion, Drinks are on him!

If you haven't yet, give mad props (or great thanks, however you word it) to putting together the Feud for us. I know it was messy with the website going down, but Lucien held it together and dealt with all of the problems that arose like a champ. We owe him a great deal. So drinks are on him too!

Lucien is on a 30 day LOA due to Real Life. He expects to return to us on or about the 15th of October. Please don't send him emails unless they're urgent, and even then, please try and go through House Summit or Pho first.

Everyone make sure to send some thanks Kalak's way also, as he's done an outstanding job gtting settled in as Roll Master and his work has been invaluable.
