My friends,

First of all, some summit changes: Vorion has been chosen as Proconsul. You all know him, and how ready to help he is. His time has been short in Arcona, but he’s more than made up for it by being an invaluable member of this summit. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the clan, make sure to CC him as well. As you’ve all probably noticed, with Vorion as PCON, that left a vacancy as HQD QUA. Rather than hold another lengthy application process, we picked someone else from the pool of applicants for PCON – DJK Taigikori. He comes to us from Taldryan and we have high expectations of him. Needless to say, both Vorion and Taigikori will have a two month probationary period whilst they settle in. Whilst we’re on the topic of summit changes, Etah has stepped down as Blue Mist Commander, so if you are interested in taking up the reins of Blue Mist BTL, send applications to Tirano, Malidir, Vorion and myself before the 30th of this month. Oh, before I forget, AED applications for AED of HQD to Taigikori, Vorion and myself before the 30th. We’ve had a fair few site hiccups recently, but they seem to have abated by now so we can focus on a return to normality. We’re just going through a Shadow Oath purge, so a lot of the dead weight will be trimmed from the clan soon. Other than that, see below for what we’re working on.

Comps:

We’re finalising the ACC ladder, so that should be sorted by the weekend – so if you want to participate in this ladder, email me letting me know and the ladder pairings will be released on Saturday. Other than that, there are a few comps kicking around at the BT and House level, props to Lego, Tirano, Taig and Draco for that. I’ll also be starting the Arcona Monthly Topics in October, so there’ll always be something to work on.

Tasks:

The Summit re-jig has taken up a fair bit of time, but another focus has been on setting up a calendar of events for the next few months, I.E. the ACC ladder, a possible RO and an inter-clan competition. I know, I know, you guys are still knackered after the last one, which is why this is veeery much down the line material so don’t get your collective panties in a bunch just yet =P

RL:

Busy times. Settled into my new house, sorting out university registration, hopefully lectures start soon and the bills have started coming in thick and fast, so it’s good times. A lot of people’s birthdays too, so lots of social obligations. However, my timetable should be easing up so I’ll have more time for you, my minty fresh clan.
