Greetings everyone and welcome to another edition of my Grand Master report. We have a lot of exciting events taking place and I want to take the time to highlight a few of them.<p> 1. Planning for the Great Jedi War is in full swing. We are currently putting together the Multiplayer Competitions and I am pleased with what we have come up with so far. We plan on having weekly competitions as well as a few events that run the length of the GJW.<p> 2. Raken, Muz, Kir, and I are working on pieces of the GJW fiction. We are working on several surprises that should keep everyone on their toes.<p> 3. The Great Jedi War Teaser Trailer was released. Check it out: Teaser Goodness<p> 4. DJB Fictional update. Raken continues to release serials building up to the events of January's GJW. You can find his latest at: http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/dbjedi/comments.asp?ID=N:5329#comments. Perhaps a new Guard was in the offing? Time would tell. Many things demanded his more immediate attention.". Who could that be?<p> 5. Character Sheet Beta Tests! The Beta Tests have been going well for the Character Sheets and some of our testers have gone above and beyond what we expected. <p> For those of you who do not know, the new Character sheets are not just a simple form to replace the current sheets. The new Character sheets will be something every member of the DB uses to help flesh out their character. <p> Kaek tastes like Dark Jedi Master: I am proud to announce Kaek's promotion to Dark Jedi Master. I had planned on making him wait until 3 November (his 10 year anniversary), but Kaek's outstanding service led me to promote him now. Congrats Kaek!<p> CNS: Consul Open for Applications: Ashia has decided to step down as Consul of Clan Naga Sadow. Applications for Consul will be taken from now until 5 October. Please submit your applications to Muz, Raken, and GM Sarin. Standard guidelines for applications: 30/60/90 day plan and why we should pick you over everyone else. <p> Old Guys Return: I'd like to welcome all of our returning members. Over the past week I have seen the return of several great DB members who have not been with us in several years. Welcome back (Proty and Howie in the house!). <p> TFU: GM Competition: Okay, short time offer only. Send me a digital photo of the end game screen of TFU and YOU and I'll throw you a crescent. Competition ends on 4 October. Best photo will win a higher level crescent. <p>

Congratulations: Medals: Congratulations to Lucien on his new AK. Lucien has set the standard for all other PCONs to follow. His energetic work ethic and continued work to improve his Clan has made him one of our best leaders. Congrats Lucien!

-> <- <p> Good Times: Okay, another report down. I see a lot of good things going on in the DB right now and appreciate everyone's hard work. The Beta Testers are doing nice work and we should see the new sheets before too long. I am also very optimistic about the next GJW. We are shooting for a January release and I believe we should have everything complete with plenty of time to spare. Raken, Muz, and Kir have been doing a hell of a job putting together the pieces together. In a few days other DC members will be brought in to work their pieces for the competition. <p> I mentioned earlier that some of our older members were returning. Let me say a few things about that.<p> 1. It is not good. It is great. It is freaking great.

1. New people=new ideas<p> There are a lot of old members out there who played vital roles in the creation of the Dark Brotherhood. These members were innovators and helped establish the club that we now play in. Seeing the return of so many people can only improve our club and lead to newer and better things. Be sure to welcome the old/new guys back.<p>

<p>Final Thoughts</p>

Real Life: Rumors are flying around about when I am going to get back to the states. I am just about to hit month 11 and hopefully I make it home before the end of this year. Either war, my days here in Iraq are closing down and I am stoked about getting home to my family, my dog, and my video games.
