Quaestor Report

2008/09/27, 10:00 PM, Quaestor - House Cestus

The assembly hall of the VSD Corsair - a well modified and decorated deck of the Star Destroyer was slowly filling up with the fourteen Dark Jedi that the vessel housed. The few Journeymen hurriedly filed in as their seniors - the enigmatic Equites strode in, their cloaks shuffling in their wake. The lone Elder had already taken his seat in front, facing the Epicanthix Aedile. Ronovi Tavisaen's electric eyepatch could do the job of seeing very well, therefore she left the nuances of expression to her remaining eye as she coldly looked upon the latest arrivals.

"We had summoned all of you ten minutes ago." Her heavy voice breathed to the newest apprentices.

"Get on with it." A Force-enhanced whisper surrounded her and dissipated immediately. Without looking at her Quaestor, she began the meeting.

"The Clan Summit sends word that the Dark Council is preparing for a war on the Yuuzhan Vong to take back what was ours-"

'-theirs-' the whisper sniggered from behind her.

"and has asked us to prepare ourselves for a war. Cestus, is still a smouldering fire-egg resting upon its ashes, and we need a little help if we are to 'prepare' for this war. We, the Summit, have envisioned a plan to handle our... handicap in this respect." She paused, allowing Kazarelth Talismarr to guage the reaction of each member discreetly. Before she could start again, the Omwati fluidly arose from his throne and took over the stage from her, his faltering voice enhanced by the magic of the Force as he boomed,

"And I am looking for volunteers. It is of course, a dangerous plan that we have plotted, and the course of its journey you will suffer many times. Yet at the end of the successful mission, for I am very optimistic, you will have learnt and succeeded in your own way."

A murmur of anticipation ran through the audience as they wondered - too loud for the ears of the Force to not pick up.

Kazarelth smiled wickedly.

If you haven't read the fiction above, I urge you to at least skim through it.

And for those of you who have, here is the announcement: There will be a new [really big] competition in a week, if things go perfectly well!

But before we get into the nitty gritties, you must be wondering about the "volunteers" part. Since I want this competition to be relatively successful, I would like members who will definitely participate to send me ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]), Ronovi ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]) and Vai ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]) an email telling us that you will be relatively free enough to participate in this competition which will include at least a run on, a fiction comp. and hopefully some gaming. Please tell us which event you will be participating in as well. :)

Those of you who will not email us will not get to participate in any event! So please do email us in this week!!

And why is Vai to be emailed, you ask? Because he is our new Rollmaster!! {Kaek will be making him RM soon, I hope.}
