Filler Report (Dinaari Report #26)

Hey all,

With the database being down I don't have my template for doing reports. Just some general reminders, then.

1. Dinaari Quick Trivia (DQT)

Get your crap in. Due to the total lack of entries I'm extending Week 1 for another few days. If you need the questions again just check out the bottom of this e-mail.

2. You can still use the DJB Wikipedia

While you shouldn't access the main DJB website you're more than free to use the Wiki - just google "DJB Wiki" and it should be the first result.

3. Last month to get your activity in for merit medals

At the end of the month I'll be reviewing my Activity Tracking Records (ATR) and will be giving out merit medals based on each individual member's activity. Be sure to be as active as possible to get a better medal.

4. Be sure to stay in contact!

Things have been quite slow lately so be sure to check in via e-mail every now and then to show you're alive. Get on IRC and talk with your fellow Clan-mates! Do something!

I understand that with the recent "change in management" of the EH that some members have flocked back there and let me tell you this ... Ronin is no better than Astatine and things will remain in a shitty downward spiral. While Ronin isn't as crazy (nor as angry) as Astatine, he's far more lazy, lacks skills, and is highly resistant to change. While things seem great now with the downfall of Ast I assure you this high will not last long. I knew Ronin fairly well back in the day and he's not an impressive person in the very least; he's just as much to blame as Ast for how things went down a few years back. So yeah, he's just as bad as Ast only in a different way.

Now I don't wish to offend those who are in the EH or who went back - I understand the temptation to go back to the EH to try and re-create the "good old days." I mean, I was a Fleet Admiral on the Command Staff before I resigned in disgust and later got expelled. It's annoying to have to "start over" with your rank again but big deal. I much preferred acting the part of an Imperial officer rather than a Dark Jedi but I have to tell you this ... the DJB is a far better club and will last longer than the EH will.

Still, it's your choice of how you want to have fun and obviously I won't hold it against you for "dual-enrollment" in the two clubs. Just think of this as a sort of "recruitment" e-mail ... whatever.

I don't want a debate on this either ... that was just my personal opinion and no one else's. What you choose to do with what I said is up to you.
