Aedile Report #1

The Return of the Aedile aka the News

Well I have returned to my old position of Aedile for House Ludo Kressh. It has been about 8 months since I was last here, and I'm excited to be back serving House Ludo Kressh. House Ludo Kressh has been great to me, and I hope to return the favor again. Now on to the reporting. With my return, I will be holding a new competition to determine who will be my Black Guard. Joseem Maruuch was my Black Guard during my last reign as Aedile, and I consider him still to be my Black Guard. However, like a good Aedile that I am, I'll be holding a competition to crown a new Black Guard. Can Joseem, regain his true position? Stay tuned and find out.

Our Master at Arms, DJM Syn Kaek, has updated our promotion guidelines. This new guideline applies to everyone in the Dark Jedi Brotherhood, DJK or below, even if you are already working on your next promotion. Make sure you check them out here: Promotion Requirements. If you have any questions, feel free to ask any members of the Clan and House Summit, or just me and we will help clarify any questions.

Our Consul, Bob, is reviving the Naga Sadow Times. If you are interested in writing for a newspaper type media, please be sure to contact him if you want to help write articles, edit, or whatever.

Sapphire Squadron

We are currently looking for a new BTL for the Sapphire Squadron. The BTL will be asked to help guide new members in their Battle Teams, promote and provide activities, and help prepare us for the next Great Jedi War.

Requirements

-Must have passed both SA Courses for Leadership

-Must be GRD or Higher

-Must be an Active Member

-Good Presence is a must (IRC, email, message boards, etc)

-24 Hour turn around on Email

-Must be able to dedicate a few hours every week to focus on Battleteam duties

Some, but not all, of the job duties include:

-Weekly Reports to Summit

-Weekly Competitions

-Minor Promotions from Apprentice to Acolyte within the Battleteam

Promotions

It is my pleasure to announce that Suyo Kenshin has completed her trials and has been promoted to the rank of Guardian with all rights and privileges. Only two more promotions to go before you are knighted as a Dark Jedi. Keep up the good work and make House Ludo Kressh proud.

There has been quite a few merits that have been awarded the past couple of days. Even though our esteem ProConsul listed them in his report, please allow me the opportunity to recognize those members again from House Ludo Kressh.

Macron has earned a Crecent with a Topaz Star for placing 2nd in Event #13, Battle of Inos.

Macron has earned a Crescent with a Sapphire Star for placing 1st in Event #14, Battle of Inos.

Xander has earned a Crecent with a Topaz Star for placing 3rd in Event #14, Battle of Inos.

Horus has earned 9 Clusters of Fire for the ICTE gaming event on Oct 11.

Tsingtao has eanred 3 Clusters of Fire for the ICTE gaming event on Oct 11.

Horus has earned 22 Cluters of Fire for gaming, Battle of Inos.

Xander has earned 6 Clusters of Fire for gaming, Battle of Inos.

Cuyir has earned 9 Clusters of Fire for gaming, Battle of Inos.

Tsingtao has earned 1 Cluster of Fire for gaming, Battle of Inos.

Xander has earned a Legion of Scholar for participating in Event #1, Battle of Inos.

Macron has earned a Legion of Scholar for participating in Event #1, Battle of Inos.

Tsainetomo has earned a Legion of Scholar for participating in Event #1, Battle of Inos.

Tsingtao has earned a Legion of Scholar for participating in Event #1, Battle of Inos.

Aticus has earned a Legion of Scholar for participating in Event #1, Battle of Inos.

Suyo has earned a Legion of Scholar for participating in Event #1, Battle of Inos.

Kaelin has earned a Legion of Scholar for participating in Event #1, Battle of Inos.

Macron has earned a Crescent with a Quartz Star for placing 3rd in Event #15, Battle of Inos.

Those are the awards that I received on my first day or so as Aedile. Congrats to those who earned a medal. If I didn't list your name, I apologize as I didn't get the email, so congrats to all of you who earned one as well.

Competitions

I know you are asking yourself, how do I get one of these awards. Well it is quite simple. The Clan and House Summits, as well as others in the Dark Brotherhood, try to provide you with activity that you might enjoy. These activities can be anything from gaming, graphics, fiction, or trivia. Be sure to look at the competition listing on the DB site to see if there is something that you feel you can do and possibly place.
