Loyal Members of Clan Plagueis,

There is so very, very much of Plagueis. And no one individual - save Dark Adept Jonaleth - may know all of its intricacies and details. A fact I have become well aware of since taking the position of Consul. How often do we use our solar system - the Jusadih System? How often have you referred to the Clan Powers - Dominance? When was the last time one of our relics - the Artifacts - were dispatched or revealed? All of this information is at our disposal for fiction and character development, folks. Take some time and explore it all! And if you have questions, send them to me!

Clan News

Stability. contented sigh

Both Quaestors continue to serve in their exceptional capability. Their Aediles are in tow and performing several much needed administrative functions (AWOLs, Mailer Updates, etc). And our Proconsul completed a grocery list of duties for me this week as many of you may have noticed with the severe hailing he inflicted on your inbox.

Our new Clan Roll Master, Primarch Quejo, has provided a steady chain of e-mails to me this week. The large topic of discussion: the Master-Apprentice Program. We are looking to establish some definite guidelines and a process, while integrating the new Promotion Standards released by the Master At Arms. At the conclusion of the House AWOLs, we will be releasing new material and pairings.

As always, if you are seeking guidance - at any rank - please contact Primarch Quejo, myself or your House Leader. Each of us are at your disposal as you seek advancement in the club. It is our hope that we create an atmosphere where everyone is willing to ask for help and can grow into the same love and admiration that our Elder members have for this club.

Prospectus and more. That is right, I released the first portion of a revamped Clan Prospectus two weeks ago. I am currently drafting a ton of new content pertaining to the military stratocracy (not to be confused with a military dictatorship - think Full Metal Alchemist). In addition, Templar Yzarc and I are going over the other information available and making it more concise and building our new direction. The hope is that once this is solidified no future leaders will have to 'recreate the wheel' pertaining to our fictional direction. Keep posted for more details!

Halloween Festival. There is a trio of competitions going on right now to celebrate the holiday. I have not received that many entries thus far. I would like to see a ramp up on activity at the end of the month. Showing the Brotherhood we are more than warm bodies listed on a page.

Combat Master Report: Dark Jedi Master Sith Bloodfyre has released his latest installment on the Antei Combat Center. The report - largely - discusses where to direct feedback, the need for additional Trainers and Judges, and Realism in the Center. A must read for those building a rounded Character Sheet or profess an interest in the ACC.

Master At Arms Report: Dark Jedi Master Syn Kaek has released a new report. Again, another higher-up asking for your feedback. Ultimately, each of us own a portion of the club's potential and get some say on things. He also gives us some idea as to where his projects will be leading in the future. Average read for the interested DB member.

Star Wars the Old Republic: No, not Knights of the Old Republic. SWtOR is the next, exciting development from Lucas Arts and Bioware. It is, supposedly, to be the first MMO driven through story. And, most importantly, it is Star Wars! If I were a betting man, I would bet this will become a big part of our club's identity in the future. The long shot bet... the release of this game coincides with Sarin's resignation from Grand Master and the opening of the T:SWtOR position... to be filled by him :-p

The Message

I foresee a day when Our Clan will be the Brotherhood's model of stability, integrity and ingenuity. Our foundation will be solidified by eager members, an adept leadership model and will have a wise hand to stay the course. We will transcend the informal allegiance of being members of the same Clan... becoming a tight-knit group capable of anything we set out sights on.

New ideas will blossom from all of our members. And they will be given the artistic freedom to design and outline those ideas. Their inspiration will spawn from a desire to see success in themselves and their fellow members. It will be driven from their hearts and minds. Each of us will have the empowerment to leave our signature, our fingerprint, our values on Our Clan.

We will look to inspire and grow each individual. And our service will extend from the heart. Because truly great service is a decision. It is a decision to stand out and present the best possible Clan we can at any given moment. To stop quacking like ducks and soar above the rest like eagles.

We are in the business of making memories. Memorable moments. Memorable keepsakes. Memorable stories. We do not remember days. We remember moments in our lives. So cherish your vision and your dreams. And they will all come into fruition with time.

THE FIN

Not a terrible lot going on in the Clan right now. There are several competitions that I would highly encourage, though. The most important one being the Halloween Festival that is currently on-going. After that, you have two exceptional opportunities to represent your Clan and House in the Tribune: Fiction's competition "Unredeemable" and the Proconsul's competition "Current Events"

Heavy message this week from my desk. I have continually challenged each member in the Clan to find one facet of the Brotherhood they can drive and attain mastery over, but I have not seen anyone step forward to claim their own destinies. Regardless, I will continue to drive my vision of what Plagueis can become.

Wanted: Ideas. The best way to have a great idea, is to have lots of ideas. Each of you are capable of coming up with an idea that will revolutionize something. It simply requires having the daring to dream and the courage to publicize that dream.
