Banshee Brigade BTL Report (v. 2)

Reiden sat at his desk and sighed. Running a hand through his hair, he cracked his neck and got to work. He had a lot to do and most likely not that much time to do it in, but he was determined to get it done regardless.

He soon set himself to work and confronted his various tasks, seemingly working for hours even though, unfortunately for him, only minutes had gone by. After a while, he finally made a dent in his workload when his commlink chirped. ‘Oh great,’ he thought to himself, ‘just what I need right now’.

“Yes?” he said, flipping the commlink on, finding the Quaestor’s face staring at him.

“Report, now! Whore!” the Bakuran ordered, letting out a chuckle.

Reiden groaned lowly, being careful to make sure that he wasn’t heard and was about to start when Thran cut him off.

“I heard that. Now, report, immediately. Whore.” Thran repeated.

Welcome to my second BTL Report!

Yes, the sometimes-feared thing known as a report. Fear not! This won’t take long. And yes, you do have to read this, because – like it or not, believe it or not – reports can actually be helpful! So just sit back, relax, and enjoy – or at least pretend to =P.

• Holy crap! Phoenix is stepping down?! WTF dude?! Yes, that’s right, Phobird will be stepping down, handing the reins of Consul over to Lucien. What does this mean? We’ll see after Lucien takes over – only time can tell, really.
  

Clan/House News:

• Melvin has been promoted to the rank of Dark Jedi Knight…doesn’t that earn him some kind of special beating or something? Ok, well maybe not but still, congratulate him when you see him. Melvin: nicely done, keep the good work up.

• Holy crap (yes, again)! I saw Korvyn on IRC yesterday! He left after a short time, which was a bit annoying, but when he was asked if he was just passing by or if he was here for good, guess what! He said he’s back for good! Buy him a round of drinks, then smack him around a bit for being gone for so long =P. Hell, he may even enjoy the pain – some people actually do…oddly enough.

House News:

Battleteam News:

• Prajna placed 1st in Robin Hawk’s competition for HDS, “Tools and Spare Parts left Behind”. He just earned himself a shiny new Cr-E! Well done.

• Prajna has also netted himself 9 CFs from playing JO. As I was there to witness it, even though I was dead for the majority of it all, nice work PJ!

Other Battleteam-Related Stuffs:

Do I really need to say it? I sure hope not, but I’ll say it anyway! Why? Because I can, and yes, it really IS that simple =).

STAY ACTIVE! Yes, it really is as simple as that. Not only does staying active have the possibility of earning you nice, shiny things, but it’s helpful as well! Hell, staying active lets your leaders – me included, like it or not – know that you’re still alive out there in the ether known as the InterWebs. And when your leaders know that you’re alive, breathing, and still there, you have a greatly reduced chance of getting sent to the Rogues. So, honestly, show up on IRC for a bit, even if it is just to pop in and say “hi” (Korvyn =P). If not, do a comp here and there, and I won’t get angry with you or anything – not saying that I’m angry with you now though, which I’m not, but I’m just trying to give you a general idea. Besides, leaders like seeing activity, makes them proud (or at least has the possibility to make them feel proud), and they’ll start to think that they’re actually doing something right. So really, for yourself, for your leaders – hell for your House and Clan – stay active!

Reiden clicked off his commlink and shook his head. “What the hell is that crazy Quaestor talking about? I mean, come on! Whore’s at least get paid! Do I get paid, no. I haven’t been paid shit, so how can I be a whore?” he said aloud, laughing and returning to his work once more.
