Prodigy of Plagueis Announcement: Kara Rohana

Ashron crossed the threshold into the bridge of The Baron - flagship of Clan Plagueis. His eyes scanned the crew members working beneath the walkway. He sensed their fright and the rigid discipline it created. As his eyes moved toward the forward viewing port he understood what could cause so much dismay and uncertainty amongst the most loyal men and women in the Jusadih Naval Forces.

A cabal of Dark Jedi stood present. Those whom were solely devoted to the machinations of the Clan's power and reach: Braecen, Yzarc, Jonaleth, Alaris, Quejo. Power and wisdom radiated from their forms and darkness seemingly enveloped them. Ashron, the newest in the line of prodigies, marched forward to stand amongst their ranks. He moved to stand beside the Consul. Expecting to be given a new task that only he could be entrusted to complete. At Braecen's side they appeared as twins, their similar features and shared Corellian heritage masking any uniqueness their features may possess.

"Your command," he asked in a whisper. The eyes of the Consul, pools of radiant blue, turned upon him. With a flit of motion they directed Ashron's attention back upon the path he had tread. Another figure cloaked in the trappings of a Dark Jedi approached. As the figure neared, she lowered her cowl that previously hid her face. Lush, strawberry-blonde hair spilled out caressing her soft face and standing in stark contrast to her emerald eyes.

And within a moment, understanding flooded into Ashron's mind. He had been summoned to stand witness as the next in the line of Plagueis' Prodigies were anointed. The Jedi Hunter came to a rest on one knee before her leaders, mentor and peer. She bowed her head, sending the flowing streams of red and gold down across her face. "I come as requested," she spoke with reverence. "I come to serve."

"And so you shall," Braecen said. "Arise, Kara Rohana! You shall now be known as a Prodigy of Plagueis and receive all of the honor and privileges associated with such an appointment."

Surprise flooded through the Jedi Hunter. She was overwhelmed with both joy and awe. For her tremendous efforts and dedication, she had not been forgotten. Her service to the Clan had been done so with no consideration for what she, herself, might gain. And in return, the greatest of honors had been given to her. She moved to say her thanks, but words failed her. Instead, her mentor - Alaris - moved to her side and helped her to her feet. In hushed tones they exchanged words as they walked down the platform toward the exit of the bridge.

Ashron turned to the Consul and those whom still stood present. "What happens to me now?" A smirk broke the impassive faces of both Elders as if he had just said something incredibly amusing. Braecen turned away towards the viewport. And it was Jonaleth's voice that answered. "You continue to serve."

As you may have guessed, Jedi Hunter Kara has been appointed as the newest Prodigy of Plagueis. This honor stands as the pinnacle of achievement for those members whom do not hold a leadership position, but continue to serve our clan through exceptional activity and innovation. It is an honor that one holds until their path leads them from the Clan. And it is an honor one can attain more than once.

I look forward to announcing another Prodigy one day, but Kara shall stand as the newest of this noble group until the leadership gathers and votes on another. And I look forward to seeing what she and her fellow prodigies can do until then.
