The Aedile’s office had undergone an extreme transformation to accommodate its newest occupant. Containers of flowering plants now stood beside the large windows. The walls had been repainted, new carpet laid down, and new furniture filled out the office’s makeover.

Piles of paperwork covered most of the surface of the desk and two curious Voorpak claimed another corner as they chirped and purred, watching their human work. Rasilvenaira reached over and absently pet both of the small furry creatures as she scanned over another piece of paper. A flash of déjà vu flickered through the Battlelord’s mind as she thought back in time to the first time she had occupied this same office. So much had changed, yet here she was again, Aedile of Caliburnus.

Pressing a button on her com unit, the Sith pulled out another folder, and flipped through it. The door slid open and she looked up as the platinum hued protocol droid entered.

“How may I be of service Mistress?”

“Verlassen, I need you to find my apprentice.”

“Archangel is still in his office I believe.”

Rasilvenaira chuckled, “No, not that one, I meant the new one, Chiron. Go find him; I have work for him to do.”

“Yes, Mistress.”

StormRaven smiled to herself as the droid left her office, _“Yes, much to do, everything must be in place when its time.” _

Greetings Children of the Sword,

It is my honor and pleasure to once more serve Caliburnus as your Aedile. This week has been rather quiet, but I trust that most of you will soon be changing that.

News:

Well the major news, unless you’ve been under a rock and missed it, is that we have a new Consul and Proconsul. After his long tenure Phoenix the Ruthless has stepped down and Lucien assumed the mantel of Consul, choosing Thran as his Proconsul. We’ve also seen some changes on the House level, with me stepping in as Aedile after Daniel Stephens resigned. Rayne has also stepped up to become our new Roll Master. Our sister House, Dorimad Sol also has new leadership with Dante taking up the job of Quaestor, with Blade as his Aedile.

More specifically on the home front, for Caliburnus, we have several big projects underway, so look for Arch’s reports as he’ll be detailing those as more of the fine tuning is done for them all.

Souls of Darkness has a new commander, as Xan takes up that position along with becoming the Proselyte of Chaos. Congrats Xan!

Promotions:

Congratulations to Asani Vosa on her promotion to Jedi Hunter! Great job, and keep it up!

Awards:

Congratulations go out to Impetus for her sapphire crescent and Camord for his emerald crescent. I also picked up an amethyst crescent. Yay for shinies!

In Closing:

I’m sure you have all heard it before, but teamwork is such a huge key to the success of any unit, I’m going to say it again. As a member of House Caliburnus you are a part of something great. We are family; we are all on the same team. As a House we are also part of a larger picture, that of our Clan.

There is a Great Jedi War on the horizon, and as such, we all need to start getting prepared. No war is won without preparations. I know each of us love to focus on our own promotions or awards, but if we lose sight of the bigger picture, our successes become more limited. Any Clan, or House, can only aspire to the greatness its members strive for; our strength is in our people. When we work together, there is nothing that we can’t accomplish.

If you have questions or need help, I am here; my office door is always open. Archangel, Rayne, and myself, we are the leadership team for House Caliburnus, but we need all of you to step up and also take an active interest in the House in order to make Caliburnus the best it can be.
