Welcome to a belayed (but still boring! :-p) report from your local, neighborhood Aedile. Sorry about the delay guys. Between the work on the Naga Sadow Times and RL (see below for more info) its been a bit rough getting this out there. Luckily, neither the NST nor RL should be taking up near as much time going forwards, so expect these weekly. Also expect a HUGE competition (actually, a series of smaller competitions) in the very near future. I haven't decided whether to wait until Jade's current set of comps is over, or have them overlap, but for you newer members this should be an interesting experience, as all the comps follow a single story-line, and actually determine what happens in the plot. I don't know about you, but I can't wait. Now, on with the show.

Brotherhood News

DB Forums This applies more to our newer members. When you register a user name on the message board, make sure you e-mail Kir with your username, and make sure its similar to your DB username, so it isn't marked as a phishing registration.

ACC Changes There's alot of info here, so rather than retype it all, I'm just going to link you to the Combat Master's report. Find it here. Make sure you read it if you intend on competing (ever) in the ACC. That should mean all of you.

Clan News

CNS Vision Statement This is a project our Proconsul is working on. Look for it in the near future, as I think everyone will like what they see.

House News

Honestly, there's not a lot to report on this front. Its been a fairly quiet couple weeks in the House. There's a ton of comps going on, but you'll find those listed below. Also look for some serious advancement of the House plotline when my comps start.

Well, I've been pretty busy this last couple weeks. We've had some problems at work, so instead of my normal 50 hours a week, I've been working about 70. Which isn't too bad, since I'm hourly, not salary. :-p Lots of OT! On a more somber note, my dad's come down really sick. About 10 years ago he stopped to help a lady who was in a horrible car accident. Her head was literally split open, and he had to hold it closed until the paramedics arrived. Unfortunately, he had some cuts on his hands at the time, and contracted Hepatitis C (the blood-borne version of the virus). Luckily, afterwards everything seemed to be fine. He had the antibodies, but no sign of the virus. Until recently. A couple months ago it flared up really bad, and its tearing through his liver, so I've been spending alot of time with him, in and out of the hospital. Unfortunately, the doctors don't know how bad its going to get - he could have a few years, or only a few months, depending on how fast it eats through his liver. That's pretty much been my life the last couple weeks.

There's a ton this time around, so rather than summarize every one of them, I'm going to copy/paste the info.

Madness

LEGO Dark Brotherhood

LEGO Batman has recently been released, and many have said that it's essentially the Star Wars game with different skins. But that's all fun anyway. Everyone loves Lego.

Mad Macron's Darksider Duel Analysis

Three clips of famous darksider lightsaber battles on YouTube will be analyzed by each participant in a 3-part series. Participants will reference and provide a synopsis of the battle and the moves and powers used in the clips according to Brotherhood Dark Jedi lore and the Lightsaber Combat Guide. A summery and insights into the battle will also be provided by each participant in their own words.

Ekind Uprising: Stealth

While the majority of the Ekind are half-human half-reptile, reports from eyewitnesses at attacks have stated that some have evolved even further; growing wings and having the ability to fly. These winged Ekind have been said to be the most dangerous of the resistance.

The tribes of the Ekind are very religious, spending large amounts of their time praying to their god. We have found the location of their main church which holds some of their most precious items. Early reports have stated that a statue in this church is highly sacred to the winged Ekind and if this relic was to go missing they would be ashamed and would no longer fly.

Your task is to, without detection, infiltrate this church and obtain this statue.

Our Quaestor received a coded message. Upon looking at it he realized he needed another pair of eyes. Knowing you have experience in decoding he has called you to his office.
