<font color="#C11B17"><b>Clan Scholae Palatinae, </b>

_ “Come about to bearing 1-4-5, adjust trim to 1-1-0 down, roll to 4-5 starboard, full speed ahead.” Ordered the Commander in Chief.

“Aye Sir. Helm to 1-4-5. 1-1-0 down. 4-5 Starboard. 100 percent throttle. Aye.” Recited the helmsman.

The gargantuan pyramidal vessel listed lazily to the ordered bearings. There was a murmur of the deck officers; it perturbed the Proconsul. He clenched his jaw. The Royal Navy had a notorious habit to pick fights with the Fighter Jockeys, and now they were under the command of their head honcho. The Proconsul had fought in every major engagement the clan had seen over the last four years. He was the kind of leader who would have fought and died beside his troopers. The pilots of the TIE Corps would, without any remorse, die for the Proconsul, but the other facets of the military did not see him in the same light.

“How are you finding the Indomitable, Sir?” inquired the Commanding Officer.

“She’s a great ship, with a responsible and proficient crew.” Said the Proconsul with an indignant hint in his tone.

“Thank you, Sir. The Indomitable prides herself on being the best.” The CO said.

A stout man rushed up to the Commanders. He saluted the Captain, who quickly returned the Salute. The man stood awkwardly saluting the Grand Marshal, who had yet to allow the man to rest. Thran looked him over once.

“Put your arm down.” He said, disgusted by the formality.

“Yes, sir.” The Sub-Lieutenant put his hand down. “Sir, your presence is required at the Communications Terminal. Private message for you, Sir.”

“Thank you Lieutenant, you are dismissed.” Thran replied.

The Grand Marshal meandered towards the Comm. An image flashed before him; The Emperor.

“Occasus, I need you here, yesterday. The Senate is meeting, you are going to oversee the proceedings.” Thran cringed at the Emperor’s words. He hated the disrespect of being called by his surname alone.

“Emperor, I do not think that I am best suited for that task. I have little faith in th-” He was cut off.

“I do not like your tone, Occasus. You are to report to Judecca immediately.” The Emperor hissed.

Again, he’d done it again. “Yes, Emperor. For the Empire.” Thran replied. He turned back to the CO. “Captain, set a course for Judecca, Immediately.”

“Yes Sir!” the man replied. “Prepare for Hyperspace.”

The Indomitable turned on a dime. The Imperial Star Destroyer was a marvelous machine. The humongous sub-light engines flared; the ship accelerated. In a flash, the Destroyer was gone.

_ And now the moment you’ve all been waiting for… My rant of the week.

The Beatles. I just don’t get what made them so popular. I mean, they were a bunch of goofy dudes from Liverpool, with those bowl cuts that everyone had when they were a kid. Is that enough to make you famous?

They were all pop and a lot of suck. They claimed to epitomize the culture movement, but that wasn’t until after Bob Dylan. I mean, the Beatles were really really square until the late 60s. I just don’t get what made them so popular, other than being British. Musically, they aren’t even that talented. I mean…Ringo…Come on Guys…
