The Ninth Great Jedi War

Is Victory in our future? The GJW will answer this for us but in the meantime we can speculate.

Starting in late January or early February, the Ninth Great Jedi War will be decided over the course of approximately 7 weeks. The Eighth Great Jedi War was well received. We all enjoyed creating that but I can easily say we're more excited about this production than any of our past ones. From battleplans to battlefield promotions, this war will have a lot to be involved in and a lot to brag about if you win. There's a decent story as well that two or three of you may even read.

Eventually I will stop building these and start playing in them. I'll look forward to seeing what others can come up with. Until then, do me a favor and enjoy GJW 9. If we renew even a little excitement in you about Star Wars then we've done something worthwhile.

Plot Updates Update

The fourth update was released. A few of you enjoyed it and sent some nice emails and comments. Thanks. The fifth and final update between now and the start of GJW 9's fiction introduction will go live in the next month or so. Look for a special guest author. If that pans, I'll be at the wheel again.

November Competition Results

Pretty underwhelming turnout. Holidays. What can you do? I'm going to take a cue here and not run anything for December. I know a lot of your houses and clans have events planned anyway so focus on those and get ready for what should be the best GJW we've ever had.

Star Wars Galaxies: Emulator

I've been following this project since it started. I know a lot of people are anticipating Star Wars: The Old Republic, but my eye is on SWGEmu. I've been playing on their test center and it's amazing what they've put together. When Version 1.0 comes out (unknown when, but I'm guessing sometime next year) those who run private servers will have a lot of "Dungeon Master"-like options that could really tailor the experience to a fictionally well-established Star Wars club full of dark Jedi. Now where to get one of those?
