Banshee Brigade BTL Report (v. 5)
The sound of crashing could be heard well beyond the office of the young Knight. Those who could hear the loud noises dared not approach his doors to see what was going on, let alone go near there. Whatever was going on, only the Knight himself could tell them, but they dared not ask.
Reiden swore a constant stream of expletives, muttering to himself quietly about who knows what. His commlink beeped and he grumbled and growled, making his way over to his desk and tapping the built-in datapad, answering the call.
"Yes? Reiden here."
"Where are my tacos damnit?!" demanded the voice of the ProConsul, Thran Occasus. Clearly, the Bakuran was rather pissed; continuing the ProConsul added, "I asked you to bring me the goddamn tacos like 2 months ago, you little shit! What's taking so long?"
"Thran. I want you to listen to me very carefully, understand?" Reiden replied, his voice almost like a hiss as the words came out. "I'm sorry, and I mean no disrespect, but...get your own goddamn tacos yourself! I have no time for this! I have to go, sorry. Bye." And with that, he terminated the communication.
Spinning on a heel, his robes swirling around his legs, Reiden set himself back to his previous task. Muttering to himself yet again, he resumed the rummaging through of his office, searching for something.
Little did Reiden know, but one funny little d'Tana had witnessed the whole thing -- he was the only person brave enough to try to see just what the hell was going on. This was none other than one Koskian 'Psyko' d'Tana. Kosk turned and left, laughing to himself once he was a safe distance away, and headed toward the Executive Offices within the halls of Arx Ondorii.
Meanwhile, Reiden was still muttering and then, finally, he found what he was searching for. He grasped the item and brought it into the open; it was a small pouch. He opened it and withdrew a pendant on a leather cord and slipped it around his neck, allowing himself a small smile. He then closed the pouch and took it to to his large cabinet, palming the lock open and pulling the door aside. He stashed the pouch within, keeping it relatively safe, and pulled the door back into place and palmed the lock closed. Reiden then made his way to his desk and sat down with a sigh of relief; however, his brief moment of peace was very short-lived, for as he did so his commlink went off, beeping again. He muttered and tapped the datapad once more, answering the call after releasing a held breath -- a more recent habit of his when answering using the datapad; he claimed it helped him calm, stay focused, and even collect his thoughts at times, but others suspected that he wasn't consciously aware of it, even though he knew that he was aware, and even in control, of it.
"Reiden here. Go ahead," he said calmly.
"Hiya minion!" As Dante's voice issued forth and Reiden couldn't help but let out a silent sigh of relief, thankful that it wasn't Thran, back to chew his ass out for insubordination.
"Hello sir. What can I do for you?"
"It's time again, Reiden."
"Sir, I just got back from a rather annoying assignment, thought I lost something and just found it again now. It is very important to me, and I would hate to lose it," the Knight explained, more than slightly annoyed at having found himself needing to do so.
"Come on Reiden," Dante replied plainly.
"Sir, you can't possibly be seri--" he was cut off.
"Minion. Report!" Dante said, chuckling at his former Apprentice.
"Yes...Master," Reiden said, momentarily admitting defeat.
1.) Ok people, suit up for battle! It just gets closer and closer to go-time! What the hell am I babbling on about? Why, the House Feud, of course. See, to help us better prepare for the upcoming Great Jedi War, that will be coming around sometime in January (mid- to late-January I believe), Scholae Palatinae will be having a House Feud.
What's that? You want details? Well too bad, sorry. I'm not at liberty to say at this point in time. Stay tuned for more info, from anyone, until the event actually starts!
What's our goal, as members of Dorimad Sol, in the House Feud? Simple: to dominate in all we do! We want to come out on top and win!
2.) This is what the House Feud will be preparing us for everyone -- the Ninth Great Jedi War: Unification. Now, personally, I don't know much about these things, since I've only been here for roughly 6 months now and GJWs happen every year, I believe; that means I wasn't here in time to participate in it. Anyway, the Ninth Great Jedi War will be my first one, so if it's yours then don't worry, you're not alone.
While the House Feud will be on the Clan level (between the 3 Houses), the Great Jedi War is fought on the DJB level, between all of the Clans.
What's our goal, as members of Clan Scholae Palatinae, in the Great Jedi War? Again, simple: to dominate in all we do. Whether it be a house Feud, Clan Feud, or Great Jedi War, or anything else, we want to come out on top as the winners. This is especially true for the Great Jedi War. For a while now, Clan Taldryan (sometimes called "Tally"), has been the 1st Place winner of the Great Jedi Wars. Those of us in CSP are getting rather annoyed at Tally and how they always seem just out of our reach.
In the last Great Jedi War, Scholae Palatinae came out in 2nd Place, and this year, we seek to dethrone those of Clan Taldryan. We came in 2nd Place last time, and if we did that before, we can do it again, if not better!
Again, what is our goal, as members of Clan Scholae Palatinae, in the Great Jedi War? Easy! To come out on top as First Clan, dethroning Taldryan at last -- hey, they've had more than their share time; they deserve it (to get dethroned, that is!).
3.) Issue 3 of the Royal Gazette is almost ready to move into the final stages! A ll that's missing are the needed articles -- which is where you come in! If you want to help the Royal Gazette (and me, since I help run it), send in an article that can be put into the issue. Not only will you be helping the Clan, Royal Gazette, and me, but you'll also get 5 Nobility Points for sending in an article. After all articles are collected, I send an email to Impie telling her who wrote an article (and in some cases, how many articles each person wrote).
Send articles to me, Reiden Karr, at [Log in to view e-mail addresses]. Last call for articles will be tomorrow. The deadline for sending them in is tomorrow, Saturday, December 6th at 11:59 pm (EST).
Articles must fulfill the following requirements:
a.) Be in-character.
b.) Deal with the Clan in some way.
c.) Be respectful. Playful joking around is fine, but in the end, I determine what will or will not go in.

Sadly, we have no new promotions this time around. Although, I understand part of the reason why this is. Some of our members are "old guys" -- a generalization I use (with no specific gender intended) -- and they are also at the Equite ranks, the first of which comes after Dark Jedi Knight (DJK). These ranks usually require a much longer time period between promotions than the Journeymen ranks. (So what's your excuse, you pre-DJK people? =P)

Hey everyone, Sorry about the missing links to the competitions in this one. The links were in the emailed version though, so go there - if the competitions are still going on anyway.
Speaking of which, sorry for not fixing the links on this one, I meant to do it before, but then the site was down for updates, I had/have finals and, to top it all off, my college lost power, so again, I'm sorry. If you don't mind, I don't think I'll bother fixing it this time.
