Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen, to the show that never ends. This is my second full report as your Emperor and Consul. This edition, I will be going over several things happening behind the curtain, so to speak. So, without further adieu, I present to you the Holiday edition of the Consul Report!

My project list is long and extensive, much like myself. Included here is as complete a listing of the projects as I can remember. As always, if you want to assist me in the completion of any of these projects, email me and let me know of your qualifications and interest in the project.

1.Clan Dominion – This project will bring the Cocytus system to life in a full graphical representation. This project is the forefront of my project list and the one that I want to get done first. I currently have need for writers on this project.

2.Wiki Clean up – This project will go through each and every wiki page associated with the Clan and ensure that all pages are up to date and have the most pertinent information. I currently have need for both researchers and writers on this project.

3.Clan Artifacts – This is a project that was started a while back and it never got finished. I have need for artists, researchers, and writers on this project.

4.Clan Website – RevengeX is doing some testing on the new site and tells me that he’ll be working on it for a little while longer. All signs point to after the first of the new year, so be on the lookout for the new and improved CSP Website (Now with 50% more Brawndo)

5.Wards of Scholae Palatinae – Ooooh. Wards? I thought those were disbanded under the last Emperor. Oh, but they were. But, with great power comes great…..something else, so Thran and I are revisiting it. We are discussing things with the Senate and something will be released before the end of the year. If you get an email in your inbox with this as the subject line, please do your best to respond as soon as possible.

6.GJW Pwnage – I’m planning a one week, knock down, drag out, GJW primer to run directly before the GJW sometime in late January. This will cover most if not all of the types of events that you will see in the GJW, so this competition will best prepare you for the upcoming Great Jedi War. If you want to contribute to the primer event, please let me know.

If you are interested in joining any of these projects, please email me as soon as possible so that I can get you on the list. I have pretty much unlimited space on the first three projects for those skills that are listed. I will be taking people on a first come, first served basis however, so once the spots DO fill up, that’s it.

This is something that I used to do as PCON, and will now continue as Consul. Each report I will pick someone out and shine my spotlight on them. These members will have shown themselves to exemplify the core values of Scholae through their hard work, determination, and vigor.

This month’s spotlight member is…………….Thran Occasus. Now many of you may think, “Hey, that’s not fair! Thran’s the PCON, he’s in the spotlight all the time!” and you would be half right. While Thran is the PCON, he doesn’t get nearly enough praise and thanks for all the hard work he has done as QUA of two Houses and now as PCON. In 4 days you will all see the culmination of Thran’s first competition for the Clan as PCON. He took the reigns quickly and completed the outline with ease and setup the events so that you all would have a great competition to participate in.

So, from all of us to you, thank you Thran, for everything that you have done and will continue to do for us.

You’ve reached the end of my report. Aren’t you happy? Don’t you feel as though you’ve gained more knowledge now? Good. That’s the point.

Today is Christmas Eve here in the States. Tomorrow we celebrate giving and charity, two of the more humane emotions and characteristics of mankind. It is this spirit that I give out a gift to one of the members of Scholae. For that, you will have to wade through this small bit of fiction.

_The Grand Hall of Ohmen was filled to the brim with the commoners of Judecca. Each had come to gain audience with the Emperor, not knowing that the Emperor was in no mood to grant visitors. This uprising had been clouding his thoughts for weeks on end now and it seemed as though the rebels were gaining not only in strength, but also in followers. The rebellion, if it could even be called that, needed to be quelled, and done so quickly.

Lucien called over his Sentinel to clear out the room and fetch the Grand Marshal. The Emperor waited for what seemed like an eternity for Thran to arrive.

“Grand Marshal. It is time for us to infiltrate the rebellion. For this I need a special operative, someone that the commoners are not accustomed to seeing on a day to day basis. To get to the point, I need to anoint another. Gather the Assembly.”

Within the hour, Lucien was surrounded by those whom he trusted most. The Summits of all three Houses, the Senators of Scholae, and the former Dark Paladins of Scholae Palatinae now inhabited the Grand Hall. Through holoprojection, the Exiled Emperor d’Tana also attended.

The human Consul quickly surveyed that all were present and began his speech. “Esteemed members of the Royal Clan, the time has come for us to definitively quash this rebellion before it gains so much steam that we cannot stop it without a large loss of forces. I have come to the decision to send my Dark Paladin to infiltrate the rebellion and put it down from within. It is the only viable political option available to me.”

Robin Hawk nodded her head, motioned to Eludajae and began to walk out the door. Lucien noticed the dual female Paladins exiting and waved the oversized mahogany doors shut. “Not you two. While you have both served the Throne with distinction, you are both too well known to be effective. The leaders of the Rebellion would find you out and have you killed on sight. No, for this I must anoint a new Dark Paladin. I have consulted with the Proconsul on this matter and we are in agreement. The only person capable of leading this insurrection with the kind of tact that we require and still be able to make it through unknown hails from House Dorimad Sol.”

Before he could finish uttering the name of the House, the doors swung back open and a lean figure stepped through, his cloak wavering in the wind. The figure stepped to the middle of the Assembly, withdrew their saber, ignited it, and dropped to one knee, plunging the saber blade into the concrete floor, sending sparks of crimson shooting everywhere.

The figure dropped their hood and raised their head to meet the eyes of the Emperor. It was then that they spoke. “I, Prajna Berkana, hereby pledge my life in service of the Emperor and Clan Scholae Palatinae. None shall sully her name or tarnish her glory. I pledge my very existence to the continuance of the Clan ideals and I promise that this rebellion will go down, and with malice.”

Emperor Kaeth stepped forward and was handed the Sword of Drynwyn by his Sentinel. He tapped the blade slightly on each shoulder of the newly minted Dark Paladin as those that observed the ceremony began the ritual chant. Lucien watched as the body of the Prelate shook and shuddered as the incantation progressed. When it was finished, the Dark Paladin stood, nodded at the Emperor and turned to face the crowd.

“Go forth now Dark Paladin,” said Lucien “and extinguish this petty rebellion. Do not return until your mission has completed.”_

Congratulations to Prajna on being named the new Dark Paladin of Scholae Palatinae!
