OK, this competition closed up during the week and, as you know, Kant Lavar won himself an Emerald Crescent for his trouble. His song choice was the absolutely awful "Hero" by Chad Kroeger. But, hey, it's his choice and it's awful. Democracy in action right here, folks. I don't like it, but I'll give him medals for it. I've actually chosen AC/DC's "War Machine" as our theme - don't like it? Got a suggestion? E-mail me and let me know. It'll be added to the Wiki article which brings me nicely along to our next point.

== DB-Wikipedia ==

I'd strongly advise EVERYONE in Prophecy who hasn't already written up a Wiki article on themselves to do so. I know we've all got ACC CharSheets and for that, I'm very proud. Don't go diving right into it, take your time at it - look upon it as work in progress. Oh, and if you want pointers, have a talk with Legz when he's on IRC. He's one of the WIki staff and is more than happy to help. Same goes for me, too. Not that I claim any great knowledge in the area or anything. :P

== Promotions / GJW ==

OK, Kant Lavar makes it to Protector - very well done and aaages overdue in my opinion. His work in "Black Tempest" sinched it for him and it can do the same for you. If you haven't posted in it, please do it now and if you haven't got a forum account, PLEASE get one.

Which brings me to the next part. The Great Jedi War. It's coming. It's March 1st. I'm advising anybody and everyone to get a gun and fire wildly into the air when it begins. :P

No seriously, though, if you've got a copy of Jedi Outcast/Academy, or Empire At War, or Battlefront II, or ANY platform, dust them off and get them installed. We're going to need everyone we've got available to jump in and fight. Same goes for the ACC. If you're a bit unsure of yourself in this area, I am more than happy to help you with it. Although, judging by the shit-hot writing of Kant, Marick and Zakath in "Black Tempest", I don't think we've got anything to worry about it.

Just to add as well. Participation in the War goes a LOOOOOOONG way towards promotions and future positions within Clan Arcona. The more you participate, the more chances of getting that promotion you've been hankering for, or that merit medal that you always wanted. Shit, if you're aiming for MY job, this is the place to do it! Hold nothing back!

The SA site is down, Taigikori is completely responsible since he found out there was issues with it. If you see him walking down the street, punch him squarely in the 'nads and muss his hair. He will appreciate it.

Well, I said I'd put this report out last night. But, to be honest with you, I was more interested in getting laid. So there's that. Plus I was at the Dublin International Film Festival. Go see "Gran Torino" - I highly recommend it. Now get off my lawn!
