Greetings everyone,

This isn’t an actual report, but there seems to be a slight problem with the news system, so a “report” seems to be the best option. Now, with just a few days left before the start of the GJW I thought it would be best to give everyone a quick heads-up about ACC-related items.

Qualification Matches

The site being down has of course caused delays in getting qualification matches finished. Staff will do their best to get their matches completed, and I ask others participating to try and get as many posts in as possible. We will do as much as we can to get things graded before the start of the GJW, but once the GJW starts the ACC itself will basically be “closed”. We’re at limited staff already, and once the GJW begins most of the staff will be busy helping their Clans. So please do everything you can to get things completed in the next few days

Site Update

Those of you visiting the ACC site tomorrow will find it a bit different. The right-hand menu will be updated with information designed for the new CS. The annotation-system will also be updated for use with the new force powers. You can continue using the “old” annotation for qualification battles, but the hyperlinks just won’t work. Also, all of the old Compendium information can still be found on the right-side, but formatted differently. A huge thanks goes to Dalthid for putting all of this together for us.

GJW Participation

There are two things needed to be able to participate in the ACC events during the GJW:

• Be qualified in the ACC

• Have an approved “new” Character Sheet

If you have those two things then you’re good to go in the GJW. And if you’re already qualified for the ACC, then creating a new CS really shouldn’t be a big deal.

That should be everything you will need to know for the onset of the GJW. I would also just like to take this opportunity to thank a couple of staff members. Revenge had sent us his resignation a few weeks ago, with the decision to leave by the end of February. Erin has also resigned, although she will stay on until her remaining qualification battles are complete. I would like to thank both of them for their service to the ACC, and hope that they will be able to return to us somewhere down the road
