Greetings,

This report (as the bulk of my next few reports will be) deals with the Great Jedi War, the largest event in the club and a great way to show off your skill and earn yourself something very nice in the end.

NEWS

The 9th Great Jedi War: Unification is officially commenced. You can find all relevant information at the official site.

EVENTS

For Week 0, the events are:

1. Gaming:
   

-GJW Gaming starts next week.

1. Fiction:
   

-"Debating the Return". A minimal of two pages of writing, about your character's opinions on the upcoming invasion in the story.

-Run-On Event - "Orders". Wait until our Consul starts the Run-On.

-ACC - "Battlefield Objectives". Co-op ACC event, check the site for more detail

1. Miscellaneous:
   

-Battleplan Event - "Contingencies". Battleplan event. Create a plan to execute a blockade and invasion from orbit with your clan's forces should it become necessary.

-Shadow Academy Event - "Instruction". SA Degrees event. Members will earn points for all of the Shadow Academy "Dark Side Degrees" they complete throughout the duration of the GJW.

-Trivia Event - "Briefings". Weekly trivia event. Each week will consist of 20 multiple choice questions concerning topics directly relevant to the Great Jedi War.

Below is a speech from Dathka (thanks buddy) which won my Motivational Speech competition. Hope it can encourage and boost the morale of Blue Mist Squadron members. So read on.

<c>Blue Mist Rise</c>

My brothers of Blue Mist. I stand here before you now (in this crappy, undecorated room) to sound the cry of Battle! A time of bloody war is now upon us. A time when we can return home and take back what the Vong have taken from us so long ago. When they first attacked us, the Vong kicked our asses with surprise. But now we have the power will and unity to retake what is ours! And we, the Elite, big, bad, powerful, happy, funny, crazy, angry, bloodthirsty, almost scary Battle team of Arcona will lead our clan to victory. Other clans have stated that they are big bad leaders of the Brotherhood. But we know that Arcona is the true big bad leader. We have the skills and power as one fighting force to take out all that take our candy ……………

I ask you now… to rise up from your beds and take your place among our forces, stand strong next to your team leader, and use your skills in battle to make all others that oppose us run with their tails between their legs! This is our team leader’s third war (man he‘s old). He has the knowledge, skill, and wittiness to lead us to victory. All we have to do is follow him and he‘ll take us to a happy place. I see even now that our team is one of the most active teams in the brotherhood. We have made our house and clan leaders sing with joy for our effort. Most of us have made our name known in the team and house (like me and Tirano). But there are still some of you that will not get out of your beds, and put forth the effort that I and our team leaders know you can. I ask you especially to rise from the sheets of darkness and wow us with your hidden greatness.

The Vong are strong, but we are army strong. I was not here for the last war (came down with a bad hiccup). But before that, we had the great hunt. In which I saw so much effort, I almost fainted. All of our team pulled together from all parts of the World Wide Web and kicked all of the other battle teams out of the south park. So we took the Elite big bad battle team status in Arcona. Anyways this is why I am here talking to you now. Because I want to make people cry and what better way to do that then killing everyone in the war. We will show them that no man takes candy from Blue Mist and gets away with it…

I am happy to be returning home. It will be nice to get off this piece of junk star ship and really kick some ass on the ground. Soon my brothers we will be back in our old headquarters, and we will reopen the box of wonders and joy. So for now, I ask you now to rise up and meet our ever demanding need for participation, creativeness, candy, and want to make other people suffer.

I leave you now, with one impression I hope you have gotten from this speech. That you should do your best in the Great Jedi War. And know that we are the big bad kids on the block and we have a reputation of fear and suffering to uphold. I know you can do it. Our leaders know you can do it. Even your mom believes you can do it. So rise Blue Mist… Rise!…RISE!!…RISE AND CONQUER!!!!!

So … Blue Mist, are you ready?!
