The shroud of the dark side

The team members of Ebon Cloak gathered in one of the abandoned rooms of the captured enemy base. Earned with the blood and sweat of the forces of the Iron Throne and the dark Jedi of the entire clan, the droid control center was now a forward operating base for Brotherhood forces. The rooms still smelled of dust and lube, being populated by few sentient beings and tens of thousands of mechanicals. Normally during war a ceremony like this wouldn’t be allowed, but there was a lull on the field, and the brief rite would have a positive impact on morale.

“Korroth Karn, step forward,” said Maligo.

The Pau’an, gaunt and cadaverous, strode beyond the ranks of the gathered team to stand before his Tetrarch.

“You are no longer a Guardian. Congratulations Korroth, at the request of the leadership of Clan Scholae Palatinae, due to your actions on the field of battle, your bravery and your dedication to the Dark Brotherhood, you have been promoted. You are now a Jedi Hunter.” Draco clapped, immediately followed by the rest of the battleteam.

It’s week four for the GJW. Only two weeks left, so if you want to leave an impact, the time is now. It’s not too late to join in the run-on. It doesn’t take much time or effort to write three or four paragraphs. The Battleteam is fighting on Antei. This week’s assignment is to capture enemy Jedi to obtain intelligence. Also, the dark Jedi from our clan are getting into skirmishes with those from Clan Naga Sadow. You don’t have to be a Hemmingway to contribute, just read my posts and add some content from your own character’s point of view. Also the clan would like to see some of you on IRC. As you advance in the ranks, an IRC presence is necessary for promotion. Hope to see you there!
