Dark Greetings House Ludo Kressh!

So where has your Quaestor been? Well it has been a hectic week for yours truly. My wife and I decided to embark in a small business. We are now running our very own convention called JordanCon. It was this past weekend in Alpharetta, GA. The convention is dedicated to the Robert Jordan and his works, more notiably the Wheel of Time Series. We also covered his other books like the Fallon Series and his Conan series, not as much as the others, but hey we were limited on what we can do. We brought in Brandon Sanderson as a guest since he is finishing the last book in the series. Because of this, we covered some of his books like Mistborn and Elantris. We also had Brandon give a workshop on writing, developing characters, and other writing goodness. (Brandon is also a professor at BYU). Other guests included, Harriet McDougal, Tom Doherty, Wilson Grooms, and Jordan's personal assistance. We also had Larry Mondragon, who is the President of Red Eagle (they are making a WoT movie).

Next year we plan on adding a Writer's Track to our convention.

The NEWS

Congratulations to our Aedile. He has a new baby in his household and I'm sure he will be up late several nights a week.

Dyrra Skye has been given a field promotion to the rank of Guardian. Job well done!.

Joseem Maruuch and Alexander Anderson both earned a Seal of Loyalty on the Day of the Fox! WOO HOO congrats and well deserved!

Jinius Griffin has been promoted to Novice with all rights and privileges.

Ulfsark has been promoted to Novice with all rights and privileges.

The Great Jedi War

Thanks to all of you who have helped our House and Clan. You know who you are. I can't compete with the report Bob made with his Consul Report but let's just say, it was a well written. We are on our last week before things get to a normal level. I would like each and every one of you to do your best in the final week. We are still in striking distance to get a good placing in this war.

Week 6 Miscellaneous Event

Battle Plan "Contingencies II" - Battleplan event - Create a plan to assault and capture the Dark Hall using your Clan's forces should it become necessary. Use your resources, the Wiki, and the story - how would you assault and capture the Dark Hall?

Shadow Academy "Instruction" - Shadow Academy Degrees event. Members will earn points for all of the Shadow Academy "Dark Side Degrees" they complete throughout the duration of the GJW.

Trivia - "Briefing - Weekly trivia event. Each week will consist of 20 multiple choice questions concerning topics directly relevant to to the Great Jedi War.

Week 6 Fiction Event

Free Reign - Tell any story you want within the context of the Great Jedi War.

Orders - Weekly Run-Ons during which new objectives will be given to each Clan, each week, by the Grand Master. Make sure you note the unit in each week's Grand Master's Orders section and use that unit.

Heat of the Moment - Standard 1v1 ACC event, participants must sign up and are then randomly paired to complete assigned objectives. CHALLENGES START THIS WEEK and you can continue to challenge until week 4. The battles will take place throughout the rest of the GJW.
