Still Alive

Kant Lavar dropped down where he stood and took off his helmet, letting his blaster rifle's sling slip from his shoulder for the first time in weeks.

Obligatory Monologue

The six weeks of craziness are over, and right now, looking back, we kicked ass. Wether we win or not (I think we did, but the last couple of weeks have been all too close!) we've done what nobody thought we could – we've made a better showing this year than we ever have in the last few years, and everyone should feel proud of what they've accomplished. I don't have any flowery phrases for you – honestly, I'm too tired, and I'm certain others have and will say them better than I could.

For now, I'll just pass along a Bravo-Zulu to you all, and tell you to rest up. Drinks are on me this week for your fine work on the ArcPwnage.

Cool Thing of the Week

I play two MMO games – City of Heroes and EVE Online. For City of Heroes, I play a hero using the “scrapper” archetype (think Wolverine or Spider-Man). I happened across an article on the internet that gave probably the best explanation of how you should think and act when playing a scrapper, and I had to keep from laughing; it explained why I love playing my scrapper so much, and it's actually a lot of how I play just about any game. Thus, I present you with The Zen Art of Scrapping.

I don't know when the final, official results are coming, and likely nobody else does either. I heard a rumor on IRC that we may get them at some point tomorrow, but there are no guarantees.
