The massaging hands felt good after weeks in the field. Tra’an Reith was still dealing with the aftermath of perhaps the most disastrous mission ever run by the Dark Council in the history of the Dark Brotherhood. The casualties had been enormous, including the death of Darth Sarin. Such was simply enormous. For now though, all was right with the Galaxy. Libra leaned in and molded herself to his back, holding him while he was lost in thought, before nipping him on the ear to bring him back to reality. A smile formed on his face right before the distinctive sound of a bantha roaring echoed throughout the room. His smile vanished as he picked up the communicator, knowing instantly it was Thran. The only person who had the ringtone was the Consul.

“Tra’an, we’ll deal with your insubordination later. For now, I want a report on my desk.” The Sith cut the transmission, leaving the Obelisk groaning. He hated reports and now that the War was over, there wasn’t a justification for skipping them.

Ladies and Gents, it’s April 27th, and the GJW is two days gone now. We have to return to the regular hustle and bustle of the DJB, including updating our Wikis, and preparing for the next big competition. Many of you did little or nothing for GJW IX, and I understand that it was a poor time of year, but ROAR is coming. Please make sure to set aside time to participate in the Run On and the other competitions.

I am, as of right now, issuing an AWOL check. If I do not hear from you by Friday May 1st at midnight, your name goes to Kaek. I’m trying to bring this House alive again, and I cannot do that if I have member who don’t participate. I try very hard to give you what you want, including running two competitions to appeal to the non-traditional people among us.

I sent out an email more than three months ago, asking you all to tell me what you wanted, called Quaestor’s Questions. I got 9 replies, one of which was the former GM. Please reply and let me know what you want. I’m here to serve you by running competitions that you find fun and want to participate in.

That said, when I get a list of GJW awards, I’ll send them your way.
