Phoenix Report #18

So, incase any of you hadn't noticed, the GJW is over! I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to all of you for the hard work you put in over the last month or two. I've really enjoyed reading the fictions that've crossed my desk, and the odd ACC battle (ewok-Lannie especially I have to say!), and I know that all of you who've been gaming as well have done far more than what I've seen, so well done and thank you one and all!!

Now, when Vodo originally asked me to take this post up just before the GJW started, the deal was that I'd get Phoenix through the war, then slip back into my nice little nest of obscurity and go back to sleep. But I've really enjoyed it, and there're some great bits of intra-house rivalry I'm looking forward to seeing played out, so having spoken to our illustrious leader, if you guys don't have any objections I'd like to stay on a bit, and see how much more trouble you guys can cause me!

There's not a lot of news to report really, except to say you all have two tasks to complete - and no excuses!

1) Relax and enjoy yourself!

2) Just to re-iterate what Shad said, whether we win or lose, do it in a dignified way. Don't forget how many years the other Clans have been tryign to take this title from us. If they finally manage it, well done to them, it'll be good to finally have some competition to speak of, and if they don't, well they tried damn hard, and made sure it was a fight to the finish, closer than any other GJW I can remember. And either way I know you guys all tried your best, so you'll hear no quibbles from me!!

So, go enjoy life, and relax for a bit, cause I have a few competitions up my sleeve to hit you with soon ;)
