-- Holy aggravating Dark Council, batman! The results from the GJW are incoming, so be patient.

-- Keep your eyes and ears open for a post-GJW TT, we certainly have more than enough material to write at least one.

-- Lots of staff changes on the Taldryan Summit will more than likely happen in the next few months, so get ready for that. Nothing is 100% certain yet, but don't be surprised if something happens.

-- As always, the Taldryan website (www.taldryan.net) is up all the time even when the Brotherhood's main site is down, so if you're looking for competition ideas or just want to take a look at our history, go for it. Who knows? Maybe there are some hidden goodies on the site that only the most observant can recognize...

-- Remember to talk to your leaders! If you have a question, ask your Battleteam Leader. If they don't know they'll take it up with the Aedile, etc. People shouldn't really be posting on the Taldryan mailing list unless they're thank yous, congratulations for awards and promotions, or condolences for sad news. The Summit is there to help you, so use them!

-- TAL INITIATIVE: Reply to this thread with your ranking of how each Clan placed. Let's see how everyone thinks we placed among the other Clans (hopefully first!)

As we've seen in emails going around the Clan's googlegroup, the most important thing about this GJW is to be good sports about it all. No matter we win or lose, we will congratulate the winners and applaud their efforts, no matter the differences we have with them. We will not be the bitchy, whiny clan that scoffs at the others because either A) we're better than them or B) we feel slighted by a loss. It's irrelevant.

Now, this does not by any means implicate that I feel we will lose. In first place at the last update, it's still a very tight race. Sure we lost what we thought were guaranteed points in team gaming, but with strong participation in the other events, we have a very solid chance.

Keep your fingers crossed from now, and don't forget it's all about having fun. Once that stops, then we're nothing more than a bunch of Internet Star Wars nerds who pretend to be Dark Jedi and don't even enjoy doing it. You can't get much lower than that.
