Report time, and there's a lot of stuff here, so read through it all, please.

The war is over, and I think everyone can breath a sigh of relief. While fun, these long vendettas do put a strain on everyone.

As far as results, Arcona dethroned Taldryan and took first place. Taldryan took second place, with Scholae following closely behind at third. Plagueis achieved fourth place, and Naga Sadow made fifth, with Tarentum following up at sixth. It was the closest GJW in recent history, with every single event making a difference.

as far as prizes, the consuls will be seeing an eemail go out with a fleet purchase system and it will also explain how many points are awarded. Novae have already been received, and there is a script underway to send out seals and clusters of fire. On top of that, the first place clan scored robes and a special saer for exclusive use by their clan, and the second place clan received a special robes for their own exclusive use as well. The code has a bug in it somehow, and some people are able to access them, while others can not. I can't say what it is, but the coders have been alrerted, and hopefully will be able to fix it soonish.

On top of that, some pretty high level awards are en route for our Clan leaders.
First Place, Arcona's Sashar, will recieve an Amethyst Kukri for his efforts in leadership. Despite a major snafu that left him without half his summit, Sashar was still able to keep Arcona on track and fighting to unseat Taldryan.

Taldryan's Shadow and Scholae Palatinae's Thran will both be receiving Sapphire Blades for their work to keep the war close. With so few points different and the tensions high, it was quite a feat to keep everyone going that long. Plagueis' Braecen, Naga Sadow's Bob, and Tarentum's Anshar will all be receiving Grand Crosses of the Dark Side as well, for their efforts. COngratulations, Consuls, and well done.

Announcements: DGM
As I had said before, I would not be opening the position of Deputy Grand Master up for applications until after the war. We ran them for one week and got a handful of choice applications. Each had their own unique strengths, and I hope to find a place for each of those that did apply. But in the end, there's only one DGM slot. And you can imagine my surprise whe a Lord of the Star Chamber applied. With solid ideas about our expansion as a club and things that need to be done to bring us up to date, Jedgar Paladin will be stepping into the position as my Shadow Hand.

Thsoe of you who have not been around long may not know that Paladin, as the second GM in the brotherhood's history invented such mainstays of our organization as clans and orders, among other things. and while that reverence is considerable, I do have to say that our discussions for the future of the Brotherhood have been very engaging, and I look forward to working with him.

Applications being accepted!
Post wars, there are usually a spate of resignations and retirements. This war is no exception, and we have several positions ready for people to step up and show their worth.

Applications are being accepted for Plagueis Consul through May 18th. Click here for the wiki page of what a consul is epected to do. Applications should be sent to Paladin and myself. They should include why you think that you are best suited for the job, what you believe qualifies you for the position, what plans you have for the position, and what your concrete goals would be if hired on. Anyone in the Brotherhood may apply, but I will give weighted consideration to those that have had leadership experience within Plagueis. Again, applications for this position will be accepted through May 18th.

Applications for Combat Master are being accepted through May 18th. Halc has decided to retire from the Centre once again, and we find ourselves in need of a combat master. Click here for the wiki page on what is exected of a combat master. This application should be sent to Paladin and myself and explain again, why you think you are ideally suited to the position, your qualifications,a nd your plans for improving this society. Anyone in the brotherhood may apply. Applications will be accepted until May 18th.

Applications for Gaming Tribune will be accepted through May 18th. Dante has resigned his Tribune position to better focus on his position in his home clan. Click here for the wiki article on this position. Applications are to be sent to Paladin and myself. Please detail your qualifications and plans. This person will be responsible for helping us update and evolve our gaming community in order to keep up with consoles as well as help ingratiate gaming back into the brotherhood. Keep that in mind as you are applying. Applications will remain open until May 18th.

Now that the war is over, we will start to implement some pretty interesting plans to help foster, support and train leaders in the brotherhood. There will be a departure from the status quo, and while change can be stressful, I am confident in how these changes will result in a better organization all around. There are several projects that will be implemented over the course of the next few weeks, and I would be lying if I said that they wouldn't have impact across the club. As a matter of fact, that is precisely the point of many of them. I will be putting more details out as the projects are finalized and implemented.

The first change is a relatively minor one. In the past, Consuls were given unquestioned authority over who they have as their Quaestors and aediles. The DC was too busy with their own work to make the judgement call of who would be a good Quaestor or aedile, figuring that the consul was who eventually had to clean up the mess or not. While this is true, we have also seen, as Sarin and I had made a point out of reading every leader report as they came out, is that a house's success can rise or fall on the strength of it's leadership, and a clan can fall into disarray when a house goes sideways. There is a fine line here between oversight and micromanagment, and I do not want to step over it. Essentially, Paladin and I will be working closely with the consuls to help them put solid people into positions, and help to grow them into better leaders, future Consuls and DCers.

Promotion

It's not every day that we elevate someone to the Elders. Today, we honor Raken with such a distinction. Raken's work is not unknown, and his help with the massive task of grading the GJW was the frosting on the cake. Take a moment and look through the reccs that he has been given. Personally, I want to thank him for his work and helping run two of the best Great Jedi Wars in history. Congratulations, DA Raken.

And that's all for this time. Any questions, or anything i can help with, pm me on IRC or shoot me an email. Have fun!

Grats Paladin!
Great work Raken on Adept, and welcome back Paladin to the DC!
Congrats to Raken and congrats/good luck to Paladin!
Way to go, Lord Paladin and Adept Raken
Many kudos to Sashar for his well deserved Kukri and the other Consul's for their rewards! Nice work all of you!
Oh this is going to confuse the heck out of me, so do I call him GM Paladin or DGM Paladin, rank and position which takes presidence. Do we have two GM's now.
This isn't the first time we've had a GM in the role of DGM...we somehow managed to get through it :P DGM would be the position and GM is his rank.
Anyways, congrats to Paladin and Raken!
Congratulations on DGM, Paladin!
That still leaves the question unanswered I know what his position is, and I know what his rank is. What would a person refer to him as rank or position. Usually with the DGM or the GM that is not only their rank but position. Just throwing me a curve ball when I see it on the main page as DGM Paladin, open up his dossier and it says GM Paladin and in his idline is where I see his position.
But either way congrats, glad to see some good experience back in the saddle hopefully we will move to bigger and greater things now.
Grats Paladin!! :)
Great job to all those who stepped own.
When you are greeting anyone in the DB, it is proper to great them by their rank, not their position. Address him as Grand Master Paladin. But when talking about him to a third party, you can call him DGM Paladin or the Deputy Grand.
Think about it -- in his last position, you didn't call him "Quaestor Paladin" to his face, did you?
Can I refuse my reward on the grounds that I didn't do anything? :P
It's true. I did all the work. Give the Sapphire Blade to me.
I am checking in and I need to know if any body is ever doing to know the real way of the Dark Side I mean sure you got the history and the basic and flite training but it has nothing to due with the ways of the Dark Side you have to give in to it and except the price of the dark void it would create in side you a deep and dark hunger that will feed on all life around you it may not do anything yet but soon it will grow out of control and destroy the Brotherhood as it did thousands of years a go.
