Aedile Report #14!

With the Great Jedi War 9: Unification done and over with, activity has winded down to a slow, well needed rest. Got some new competitions coming out on the horizon, so be ready for some updates in the next 2 weeks.

Now, for the report!

-- New DGM has been elected! Former GM Jedgar Paladin!

-- GJW is over, and Taldryan got second. This was an extremely tight race, and given our smaller-than-average size Clan, we did great. 28 points from 1st is hardly anything, so don’t hold yourselves down for not getting 1st. You who participated gave it your best.

-- Our very own Sith Battlemaster Vardar Fen’Amar Ordo has been promoted to Equite 3, Sith Battlelord!

-- P:MAA Applications have been opened and are now closed; we await the Kaek's decision.

-- Herald report out and kicking. Shik likes to play games with us and decided not to add some of his gfx goodies until next month. Also, for all interested (That means you, Gobhainn!) Shikyo has decided to revamp his staff and has opened up all of the positions on his for applications.

-- For placing 2nd in the GJW, Muz was awesome enough to cook up some sick robes for the clan! Looky looky! -> <- Note: You can only access these robes if you are DJK or higher. And for those who are DJK or higher and do not see the robes in your selector: Don’t worry about it, the coders are well on their way at fixing it.)

-- Applications for the position of Dinaari Aedile are open on the 15th! So if you are an active, well rounded Journeymen, then I highly suggest that you make an application and send it in. I cannot think of anyone better to train you in leadership than in Tal, and Vodo and I can help you with filling out an application should you so chose.

-- SBM Vardar Fen’Amar Ordo got his long overdue promotion to Equite 3, and is now known as SBL Vardar Fen'Amar Ordo! Woo! /me wipes a tear “I’m so proud!” Congrats man! You really, really deserve this!

--KAP Vodo Biask snagged a Silver Nova and a Bronze Nova for placing in the GJW!

--SBL Vardar Fen’Amar Ordo earned a whopping 2 Gold and 2 Silver Nova’s for his awesome placement in the GJW! Keep it up!

--DJM Alanna Taldrya/Dark Mistress Lady grabbed a nice Gold Nova and Silver Nova for competing in Unification and placing!

--OT Shaz’air “Sidarace” Rathden got 2 Bronze Nova’s! Yay, my first two! =D

--DA Seraine “Erinyes” Tenama/ErinCakes snagged a Silver Nova for getting second!

--KP Lokasena “Sena” Corvinus also earned himself a Silver Nova! Silver and gold, silver and gold! Means so much more when I see! Silver and gold decorations, on every Taldryan tree!

I don’t think I can even begin to stop thanking you guys for the awesome showing you made in the GJW. I know we did not get first, and to tell you the truth it did not set in that we lost 1st a day later. It was a sad few minutes as the full weight of getting 2nd by less than 30 points settled in. It then only took me a fraction of the time it took me to get upset as it did to take a look the Ektrosis GJW ATR and smile. You guys did awesome. Just within Ektrosis, excluding Dinaari completely, we scored a whopping 150 submissions! So yeah, give your selves a pat on the back. And don’t worry, Vodo and I are waiting for the final GJW ATR from Shadow so that we can award you guys with what you deserve.

Expect some well deserved awards in your inbox’s within the next couple of days, along with your Seals of Unity. Also, if you guys who are in the higher ranks of the of the Journymen or the lower ranks of the Equites (JH, DJK, Eq1), take a good look at Vardar’s Promotion Recommendation from Vodo (You can find this on his History Summary via his Dossier) and take note of what it takes to grow higher in the ranks, especially without holding any leadership positions.

Well, thanks again for making this GJW, and my first large scale Vendetta, awesome. I look forward to seeing you guys on IRC, and to see your overall growth in the Brotherhood.
