WE WON!!!!!!!!!!!

I said it in my last report and I’ll probably say it in my next Report, partially because I only mostly believe it’s not a dream. We took first place in the 9th Great Jedi War beating every other clan including Tally. I think our victory is important because less than sixty points separated first and third place. That means every single one of you who took part in the war mattered. Every fiction submission you wrote, every puzzle you solved, even that flash game you played, were all a factor in our victory.

I’m sure we all had other things to do, other places to be, but there was no room to let that fiction comp pass you by. You couldn’t get out of it because more than enough Arconan’s were participating. You couldn’t just forget about it because you didn’t think you’d place in the top 10. No way. If you had let it pass you, right now we’d be in 3rd place or lower. But you didn’t, we all busted our humps and for once; came out on top. But listen to me now and hear me tomorrow; our next victory will be much harder fought.

The next time we find a great war upon us (BTW it seems that we will be facing the New Republic!) I think you’ll find Taly will be out for blood for making them live through the indignity of defeat. I think you’ll find CSP just as wound up because they probably think they should have been the first clan to de-throne Taly. Furthermore now that the unthinkable has happened and Clan Not-Taly has won a Great Jedi War it will slowly dawn on everyone else that they too can win if they work hard enough. You think this war was tough? You think the 9th GJW was close? You haven’t seen nothen yet.

As a clan we have to close ranks, sharpen our skills, focus and be ready for all of us to show the kind dedication that our core gamers have. Not a few people but many, not just gamers, but fiction, ACC and Run-on’s too. Presidential elections in America are starting as long as two full years before the actual November elections take place. I think you’ll find that the 10th Great Jedi War isn’t some far off concept, I think you’ll find that it starts right now and how we move on and focus as a clan will determine if we retain the crown or if we’re congratulating CSP from the runners-up circle.

Massive AWOL Check

That email is from Mister MAA himself, Syn Kaek. You have to respond to that message (ie not send an email to Kaek’s personal account). It’s not specific on what to say (I said I’m still alive and kicken). I’m sure profanity should be fucken avoided, but I think just about anything else would do. The check ends on May 25th, 2009 at 12:00 am, Eastern Time. All those who have not responded and are not on a proper LOA (ie logged into the system and with specific dates for when it will end) will be transferred to the rouges. It’s not a fate worse than death since a simple email to Kaek will get you transferred back, it’s just easier if you respond and not have to deal with that.

On a similer note, if you go on an official leave of absence, the system does not at this time notify the Master at Arm’s so now it will be protocol for you too do so. Just send him a quick email saying your on leave, a quick explanation (family emergency, job, school, technical difficulties it doesn’t have to be specific) and when it will end.
