The Chamber of Justice Appeals Panel is taking applications. I'd advise anyone who's at least DJK, has "Past DB Leadership Experience," has passed the CoJ Certification Course, and was appalled by the abortion of justice that recently occurred to- never mind. Anyway, for those interested, you can find the full duties of the Appeals Panel here, in Section 8.0.5. Applications due May 23. (Ps... it's a conspiracy)

Also, the Dark Sage Writing Course is now open to prospective students. For those of you unfamiliar, the Dark Sage is the highest level degree offered by the Shadow Academy, and though I cannot attest personally, I am led to believe that it entails a great deal of work to obtain. Further information here. If this is something that appeals to you, you should email Tarentum Proconsul Oberst with an example of your best writing (Not necessarily DB related. Your best piece of anything is what he's looking for). A total of 14 spots are available, so that means at the very least 2 or 3 people from Clan Plagueis should be able to take advantage of this. You've got until June 8 to apply.

Also, for those of you who are shameless in your public Star Wars nerdiness, you can obtain an easy Scroll of Indoctrination by posting a bit of code on your Facebook or Myspace page (One scroll per site, if you've got both Facebook and Myspace, you can get two, though) that displays a banner and link to the Brotherhood so that all your friends to likewise become members of our wonderful club. See the news entry on the front page of the DB site for the code.

To narrow our scope slightly, we just finished a Clan-wide AWOL check and trimmed twenty or so inactive members from our roster. In the not too distant future, Master at Arms Kaek will likely be following this up with his own. I apologize for the disconnect in communication between our respective levels of power, but don't think that just because you've replied to our AWOL check you won't have to reply to Kaek's. It's an inconvenience, I know, and I apologize.

In the not too distant future, we'll have a new Consul. If that person's first name doesn't start with an "A" and end with a "Laris," and you're not too enthused about it, let me know and I'll flip shit for the both of us, and likely be quickly silenced by the... dum dum dum....conspiracy. Anyway. Once we get this upper level stuff straightened out, we crosses fingers should be able to announce things like AED and BTL in a relatively short time frame.

Clan Plagueis Navy is going to be getting a new Flagship, and a poll was conducted on the forums as to what we should name it. As it stands, Conspiracy, holds a one vote lead over Ascendency. The Poll closes on May 21. I'm not telling you which one to vote for, but.. cough cough conspiracy cough cough. Excuse me there, I seemed to have developed a bit of a cold.

Ludy and Impie MNar have conducted the second part of their Mirror Mirror story in the form of several IRC RP sessions. They were nice enough to post logs on the forums. I'd be more specific about the details, but at the moment, I'm on thin enough ground with our Rollmaster as it is, so I'll leave it to you to find out why without rubbing it in.
