1800 Hours Local Time

The Lamda-class shuttle descended through the clouds towards the seemingly ordinary rocky outcrop. The shuttle slalomed around great spires grasping up at the sky on its approach to the hidden hangar. The shuttle hovered for a moment before landing. The boarding ramp descended and hit the ground with a dull clunk. A cloaked figure made its way down the ramp, flanked by a squad of armed guards. The Rodian had been taking precautions since hearing that the Rebels were on the warpath once more, and rarely ventured outside of the Dragon Citadel without a troupe of bodyguards.

The Rollmaster was met by the Tetrarch of Ebon Cloak; the members of the Battle Team stood at attention behind him. Three platoons of soldiers were stood in such a fashion as to provide Thraagus with a human corridor. The construction of the Sedes Doctrinae had taken months to complete to its halfway point, and Koryn had arrived to ensure the construction was staying on schedule and meeting his personal high expectations and those of the House Summit. Koryn and Draco walked down the corridor of soldiers, the Journeymen walking behind and Koryn’s personal guards behind them, conversing about the construction of the Ebon Cloak base. According to the Tetrarch, there had been few problems during construction. The few that had occurred, Draco assured the culprits had been dealt with.

The Tetrarch proceeded to give the Rollmaster a guided tour of the base’s current facilities. The base would certainly be an impressive structure, Koryn could not argue that. The Rodian felt that it had certainly been worth the credits that had been sunk into it.

“I trust you are pleased with it then?” asked Draco, seemingly reading his thoughts. Koryn nodded.

“Yes. But I am afraid I must leave now,” informed the Rodian. “I have other matters that I must attend to.” As he turned to leave the shell of what would soon become the alchemy lab, an explosion shook the facility. The troops present sprang to life, some darted to cover the exits of the facility, whereas others cautiously went to investigate the explosion. Koryn knew who it was before it had happened, and the words escaped his lips like smoke: “The Cause...”

Former Grand Master Jedgar Paladin has been named the new Deputy Grand Master, and Seraine “Erinyes” Tenama has been named Combat Master of the ACC. Congrats to them both!

The Seals of Unity and CFs are on the way shortly. There was a problem with an automatic system for awarding them, but Kir is entering the requests manually. Expect them within the next week or so.

Anyone with a social networking site (Myspace, Facebook, etc.) can earn easy Scrolls of Indoctrination. Go to the DB home page and copy and paste the code onto your profile, then email Muz with a link and your award will be sorted out.

The Chamber of Justice is taking applications for the appeals panel until May 23rd. If you meet the criteria, I suggest you apply.
