RP Intro

Angral sat quietly inside the Delta-Class DX 9 transport as the medium-sized troop carrier arrived at the Marakith Skyhook's hangar.

"Subcommander, we have arrived" announced a Dlarit enlistee, who had served as the pilot of the transport.

"Thank you, Sergeant" replied the Sith after a moment of silence in which the Heragan gathered up his spare belongings; his robe, Armory lightsaber, and datapad containing his new orders...those to serve as the newest Commander of the elite Sapphire Squadron.

As Angral walked down the steel boarding ramp and into the hangar proper, a wave of vertigo washed over him; Marka Ragnos' base had been a Cathedral, firmly situated on the ground while his new House had set up shop in a massive Skyhook some thousands of feet above the bustling city of Seng Karash.

The feeling soon passed as a sense of euphoria came over him. Angral had always loved the sky and loved flying even more, one of the primary reasons he was now an adherent of the Sith Order.

As the young Journeyman came back to his senses, he looked around the hangar and both by appearance and Force signature, found who he was looking for...Quaestor Tsingtao Ming, standing silently in his iconic red battle armor. Walking over to the Battlemaster, Angral bowed.

"My Quaestor"

"Ah, Commander. Welcome at last. I hope the trip from Tarthos was not to bad" replied Ming, motioning for Angral to follow him as he turned around.

"Nothing to bad, sir. My only regret is that you sent a pilot" quipped the Sith.

Tsingtao gave a small smile before resuming his serious air. "Yes well, procedure is procedure. Now, I have your team assembled in the Sapphire Squadron ready room, just this way. They've been anxious to meet you"

Minutes later, after taking a windy path through the corridors of the Skyhook, the pair approached a sliding door emblazoned with the Squadron symbol. Here, Ming stopped

"I'll leave you to get acquainted. Welcome to Kressh, Commander" he said, shaking Angral's hand before departing. As if on a haunted cue, the sliding door then opened with a faint 'whoosh' and two bright lights illuminated the otherwise dark ready room.

Standing in the center of the room was the famous and feared Sapphire Squadron. Shin'ichi and Macron, both renowned Sons of Sadow, stood in the middle of the group, the four other pilots forming a circle around them.

"And here we go..." thought Protector Angral as he stepped into the room....

=== Introduction ===

A big hello to you all! I am Protector Angral, the newly appointed Commander of this elite Team. So...hi! Many...well...ok, all of you haven't seen me around HLK before primarily because I was a Ragnosian when I applied for this illustrious post.

First off, I'd like to thank both the QUA and AED for giving me this opportunity to command a Squadron filled with such good people and Clan legends, and one with a history unto itself. Now, onto the crux of this endeavor.

=== It's Was Only The Day Before Yesterday ===

That of course is referring to when I was appointed CMDR. Many may ask why I am filing a report so early. Well mostly to say hi and be able to put a face to my pilots and in turn, give you guys a chance to put a face to your Commander.

However, we do have some good things to report and very important things, including medals, SA exams, and the big event...Drumroll....Fractured Mirror!!! WOOO!!

Fancy name, no? I hope so, I just made it up as I was typing it. Not much here this week, but I've only been in 2 days. Here we go.

~~ Medal(s) ~~

For medals, we have our very own Son of Sadow, Shin'ichi, receiving a Seal of Unity, the very sexy Seal given out to participants of GJW IX. Congratulations, Shin'ichi!!

~~ SA ~~

Angral (Me) passed the Sith Core, Force Cults, Sith History I and III (II is still pending -_-) .

Also, the brand new course, Force Cults, is out and ready for you pilots to take. It is a personal favorite of mine, not to easy, but not to difficult by any means. Also, many of the SA courses have been updated and even more are in the works.

*Test of Wisdom has been updated

*ACC Initiates has also been updated

*Many more!

And finally, the requirements for the new Dark Side Law Degree have been posted on the Wiki by Taigikori Aybara Dupar, the Praetor to the HM.

PS-- Speaking of Law, the new Appeals Panel has been selected and both Consul Sadow and Overlord Astronicus are on it! Go them!

The big, bad, and awesome switcheroo event starts on Sunday, the 31st of May! The warmups were awesome and the results were sent out by PCON Ashura Isradia Sadow. I can't wait to see what you guys can do in the REAL things ! Oh yay! I feel like a little boy at Christmas time! =D

Ok, I'll take a little section to explain what I have rolling around inside my head for the Team. Please note that these are not official and have yet to be presented to the House Summit.

In Terms of Competitions....

*A fiction detailing your reaction to the new CMDR

*A short written piece describing the features of the Flight Armor that Saph uses (Picture on wiki page)

*A competition allowing you all to pick your own callsigns and a short fiction on how you chose (or were given) that particular name.

-Gaming comps of course, I'll take a survey soon on who has what and who likes what and if you guys want to even have gaming as a part of the Squadron. In fact, I'll make that survey stretch beyond gaming and just see what you all want out of me and out of the Team.

-Also, GFX events are a definite possibility, again I'll take care of that with my survey.

While In the Development Department....

*Update our wiki pages (Both the Sapphire Squadron Page and the Sapphire Fleet Page) with recent data like the GJW or House Feud on Inos which was way back when.

My hope and dream is to keep our wiki page updated with the current event(s) that Sapphire is involved in plus what each member of the Team is flying for the Fleet page.

In Closing```

Ok, I'm sorry for the really long report. This is my first time writing a report and my first shot at leadership. As I learn the ropes of my station, my reports will have less fluff and more essential info, so I just for you all to bear with me.

The RP intros will be a permanent addition to my reports, but as with the entire report, not as long.
