So far, Sang as been a beast (... in bed) and KV seems to be doing well. Any of you who are looking for even more opportunities for activity, ask about joining. It's the cool thing to do.
HEK has a new Quaestor and Aedile. Cethgus and Ood are both great members and leaders, they'll do a fine job with, admittedly, the lesser house in Clan Plagueis :P.
With Cethgus' move to Exar Kun, he obviously can't expected to stay as a Rollmaster. Considering the number of fine people in Clan Plagueis, it has been deemed a good idea to abolish the position of Clan Rollmaster and instead utilize two house Rollmasters. As stated in the Clan Mailer, the minimum requirements are as follows:
Rank - Required Rank of Jedi Hunter
Email - Email turn around of 48 hours
Able to advice younger members
Able to keep the wiki page up to date
IRC presence
With an application deadline of Thursday. I'd like to make a few notes on the position of Rollmaster, specifically what I'm looking for in the candidates. While obviously much less glamorous than a Quaestor or Aedile, the rollmaster is a very important position for the House and Clan in general, and their responsibilities should not be taken lightly. They are entrusted with the communication with our youngest members. A good rollmaster can stimulate Journeymen growth and ensure that the lifeblood of our Clan remains strong, where with a bad rollmaster otherwise promising younger members may become frustrated and leave. While I've set the minimum rank at JH, ideally we will get an equite in this position because I'm going to be weighing experience very heavily. I need a strong, reliable person for the job.

Plenty of stuff to keep you guys busy. (I'm not going to list Sang's KV competitions. Read his report for those.)

Aabs had the interesting and fun idea to give us a chance to decide what happens in the next little plot tidbit in his Headmaster report. Think of it as a choose your own adventure book, except not crappy and you don't have to worry about dying just because you choose to go left and read page 23 rather right and page 34.

This is pretty free-form, basically a humorous account of a day in the life of the Herald.

Moral of the story here, look at competitions page often. I didn't even know of this competition's existence until now, which probably makes me a terrible Quaestor, Master, or both. Anywho, it's basically a short fiction piece about your character's response to him returning. Pretty self explanatory.

Been going on for a while now. Interesting concept. Participate if you're interested.
due June 22.
With all these competitions, I'd highly suggest you participate in one or more. Even if it isn't the greatest piece you've ever written or whatever, you just might be able to squeak by with a crescent to a competition that not very many people submitted to. Not to mention, every submission to anything goes to your credit in CP's military system.
Also to note, remember to cc [Log in to view e-mail addresses] to every competition you submit to. That way even if you don't get crescents, we can at least know you participated.
Transfers:
Vorion is the newest member of our wonderful House. This one came as a bit of a surprise to me too. If anyone sees him, be sure to give him a warm welcome.
Onteron and Arcadian are back home from the Rogues. Guess they just couldn't stand being away from all you awesome people.
Also, give a warm welcome to Apprentices Dakmi Nasiri and Nivek Salokin fresh from the Shadow Academy.
SA:
Aabs is clearly hard at work renovating the SA, his latest report is <A HREF"=http://darkjedibrotherhood.com/dbjedi/comments.asp?ID=R:12736#comments">here. There's a few new SA courses up.
Here's what HSK has done in the last few days:
Artemis -> Leadership Studies
Fang -> Starfighter Studies
Vorion -> Force Cults
Keep it up people. The SA is a great way to advance as a Journeyman, and a Dark Side Degree looks very nice on an equite promotion request.
ACC:
The Eraser competition is currently going on. Kudos to all of you who're participating. In said competition:
Quejo defeated Callus via timout
Ludy defeated OT Shaz'air "Sidarace" Rathden (of TAL) also via timeout.
Medals:
None this week, but I'm not particularly worried. With the flurry of Post-GJW goodies that happened the last couple of weeks and the staggeringly large number of competitions we've got going on right now, we'll get more presently.
Promotions:
Onteron NOV -> ACO
Also, extend congratulations to Ludy, who is now a SBM. She's done a lot of hard work as SW and deserved recognition for it. Now she's got the right to have a sexxxy custom saber.
The Last Words
As you may or may not have guessed, us in CP leadership have had our hands full for quite some time now. With the GJW done, we went straight into new leadership appointments and a pretty big reorganization of the Clan summit. What this unfortunately seems to translate to is apparent disorganization and inactivity as seen by you. I'd ask you not to get frustrated, but instead to take a more productive and proactive approach. Us leaders can only do so much, and a leader's best friend is a member who comes to them and says, "Hey, I've noticed this are where I think I can contribute." Browse through the wiki articles and see if there's something you'd like to work on. Unless we've got very specific other plans, we're almost never going to say no. You're going to get rewarded with likely a Dark Cross at worst (a good thing any time the word "promotion" comes up in conversation), and a member that steps up also makes a strong case for themselves when a position in leadership opens up. It's your Clan too, you don't have to be a leader to positively impact it.

Anyway, to finish on a lighter note, the Penguins beat the Red Wings last Friday to win the Stanley Cup. For those keeping track at home, that's the second world championship for Pittsburgh this year (The Steelers and the Super Bowl being the other). So, it's pretty much objectively proven: Pittsburgh > Your City.
