RP Intro

Lieutenant Commander Angral Tavar sat behind the synth-wood desk in his room, his 22t4 holdout laying next to him, his Armory Lightsaber next to that.

The officer ran a hand through his short-cropped brown hair and focused on the Squadron roster that was displayed on his holo-computer screen.

Roster:

~Macron Goura Sadow, Active, FM

~Pylarus, M.I.A???

End Roster:

Tavar sighed and rose from his desk, walking over to where his Dlarit Special Operations Group uniform hung, the blue multi-cord denoting his leadership of Sapphire Squadron attached to his left epaulet and the Flight Wings on the tunic.

"Those symbols won't mean much if Sapphire doesn't make it through the coming days..." said Angral, turning towards the small window set in the back wall of his quarters/office and watched the sun kiss the lips of the skyline and start to descend.

"I need more men" the Lieutenant Commander finished.

Anybody out there? I know the AWOL Check really decimated our ranks, but now is the time to rebuild and restore Sapphire Squadron...and with less men, easier Crescents and awards...so get 'em while you can =)

Now, the awesomeness will begin!

Competitions

~DB~

Wookiepedia -- Not so much a comp as a little side-activity run by our own Overlord, Astronicus Sadow. If any you have a Wookiepedia account, that you CONTRIBUTE on, send the user name to Tron so that he can add you to the list of DB members so that we can become Friends with Wookie and therefore add to our recruitment numbers. YAY!!

Like A Herald -- Create a GFX or write a fiction (5 page min.) about Herald Shikyo Keibatsu's daily life. Humor is a REQUIREMENT...any kind!

Fractured Mirror -- The Mirror is finishing up, and submissions have been low, I haven't received any news that any of you have submitted. I know I haven't been there myself, but my social life is well...being social as well as getting into the swing of being a working man -_-. Being Light Jedi isn't as easy as being Sith or Obelisk or Krath, but it's a new perspective, so have fun with it!

Special Ops -- The race for Consul's Own is on! GO GO GO! There are three events that we can rack up points in, a fiction, GFX, and screenshot from any game. (I have the fiction ready for submission)

Our particular "Topic" is that of defending the Conclave on Sepros from Vong siege creatures!

Dlarit Promotions (run by moi!) -- This is approved by Bob, but will wait until after Mirror concludes. Basically, write a 2 page minimum fiction about how one would get promoted within D-SOG (as we get promoted along with our DB ranks, see the wiki).

Now here's the good stuff, gentlemen!

As soon as Fractured concludes and I give you two a respite, expect to see these awesome events in the competitions section near you!

--Say My Name -- Create a short fiction about your chosen callsign for the Squadron and your callsign. Ex: Macron is known as the Interrogator, for obvious and unmentionable reasons, and I'm known as the Warden because I (or attempt to) keep you all in check.

-- Reinforcements -- Ok, we need more men, and while NPCs are nice, the first two words, NON-PLAYER, really downgrade their usefulness. Your task is to create either 1) Five recruitment slogans for SS or 2) A recruitment poster/image for SS. The victor will have his poster/slogans used as the header for our recruitment campaign and, of course, Crescents

-- Surrogate -- Now you probably think I'm bi-polar, bashing NPCs and now asking you to create 2 NPCs each, along with a half-page description. The winner will have his NPCs added as official members of the Support Staff for Sapphire along with Crescents.

I got promoted to Guardian! =D and the rank of Lieutenant Commander. Woo!

Well, Fractured Mirror is beginning its final weeks and good competitions are in the wings (no pun intended) for Sapphire.

In conclusion, please give it a last ditch attempt for Special Operations and Fractured Mirror as a whole. I know I haven't been the best example, but that will change, I promise to you as a person, Commander, and Dark Jedi (does honor count in that case? =P).

I got promoted to Guardian and easy Crescents and medals are abound so go have fun and until next time....
