Introduction

The time has come, the owl said, to speak of many things.

Jinn’s plans were in motion. Some compared the Twi’lek to a Sith, his scheming and ambition overwhelming. Some compared him to a Krath, his lust for knowledge, never ending. These people did not truly know Alaris Jinn di Plagia. Alaris was an Obelisk for the sole reason that he would get things done himself. He was always on the front lines of a battle, and he was always the first to sound the charge.

This time, however, was different. The plans he had set in motion had to be carried out by others. He had learned that sometimes he did not have to do things himself, when a careful word could summon dozens of Dark Jedi to do his bidding for him. He would always fight, but today was not that day.

Brothers and Sisters of the Ascendant Clan

The House Feud: Insurrection, is upon us. It will be commencing at exactly 00:00 hours as according to my cell phone. At precisely that time, I will post the first week’s fiction on the Clan Plagueis Message Boards, as well as the events and tasks for each of the House’s Run-Ons.

A few things you will need to keep in mind in order for this entire event to makes sense. Fictionally, we are going to be running this Feud as if we have the same summit roster as we did at the finale of the Great Jedi War, as this event actually only takes place 1 month fictionally after the War and lasts a fictional period of five days. This means the roster is as follows:

Consul: Braecen Kaeth

Proconsul: Alaris Jinn di Plagia

HEK Quaestor: Yzarc Rellik Kaeth

HEK Aedile: Ralph Vundu

HSK Quaestor: Vivackus Kavon

HSK Aedile: Kal Vorrac

Clan Rollmaster: Cethgus Kuga

Just remember those positions, and the continuity will flow the like the mighty river… or something.

Also, in other news, Eludajae “Lynx” m’Nar has been selected to be the new Tribune of Fiction. As such, she is no longer with us here in the great Clan Plagueis, but Darth Ashen has a lot of projects for her to get started on. So we all wish her the best of luck. Congratulations, Ludy!

Halcyon Taldrya has been appointed CON of Clan Taldrya. Alexander Anderson has been named to Praetor: Grand Master, so congrats to them both.

Kir’s giving out the last of the GJW Awards! Hurrah! You should all have them by now. Also, he’s accepting applications for the Left Hand of Justice, so all you aspiring defence lawyers, get all up in that. I would, but I have a wiki to moderate, a clan to CON, a Feud to run, two SA Courses to teach, a wife to murder, and Godo to blame for it, I’m swamped.

Lots of stuff talked about here. He’s opening up a super-secret Position to Applications, but he won’t tell you what for. He’s sly like that. Also, he talked about a big ol’ tournament that was engaged in. So, there’s lots of stuff to check out there.

Kaek Makes Policy Change

Yes, a policy change that has been met with positive feedback from across the Brotherhood. It talks about titles and honorifics and what individuals can and can’t have in their name. Essentially, it was making it clear that Darth is reserved for Grand Masters and Sith Lords.

The Message

Activity. It is the lifeblood of the Brotherhood and our Clan. Each individual should strive to be as active as they can, as they should strive to be contributing members of the Clan - of our TEAM. You see, it is as a team that our victories are sweeter and our defeats are softened. It is as a team that we succeed together and fail together. So it is as a group that we must fight alongside one another and know that when the battle is over we can look into our fellow Clansmen in the eyes and say, "I gave it my all."

So we are under a social contract to one another. That contract means that we give certain privileges up for the greater good of our clan. One such sacrifice we make is the decision to 'idle' or be an inactive body on the Clan roster. We must, at the very least, make an effort to participate in every available competition opportunity at the Clan and House level. And for those whom already possess a lightsaber or belong to the Equite Class... you should participate at the Brotherhood Level with pride and honour for your Clan.

And we must be active, but not at the cost of Honour. When you are out battling on our Clan's behalf, you must hold the convictions of fair play that I hold. We will never succumb to cheating or a poor attitude. We hold our heads up high when we lose and we congratulate those we beat - on a well played match - when we win. That is the standard we are held to. That is the standard I hold you all to.
