Hello again, Jade Serpents!

Today’s report is somewhat larger than normal, as I’ve been fairly busy of late and hadn’t managed to get one out.

Arrivals and departures time then: Krandon Rowella, our former Tetrarch has moved up to Sapphire Squadron. Joining him is Ulfsark, who was promoted to Protector. I’m sure you all join me in wishing them all the best. Dismal, our resident Equite has also left, in order to make room in the teams for some new Apprentices – everyone please welcome APP Cryptic Angel and APP Azorius to the team!

I recently did a roll call – if you didn’t hear about it, it’s cause I’d spoken to you recently and knew you were active. Those of you who did not respond are likely to be removed from the team soon. Farewell and I wish you the best of luck.

NEWS AND COMPETITIONS

Well, seen as I’ve not done a report in a litte while, there is an awful lot of news!

Since I last spoke to you, the House Ludo Kressh Quaestor, Tsingtao resigned due to that horrible condition, real life. Our former Aedile, Tsainetomo has stepped up to fill his shoes, which is brilliant news. Last day for Aedile applications is today, so watch out for the announcement soon.

The Fractured Mirror scores came out, which was interesting. I came eighth overall, which is great. The top three scorers decided on the Dark Side ending to the story, which you should read if you missed it – Ashura wrote a really awesome tale.

Our Consul, Bob is wanting to set up a Clan gaming night of some sort, where members can play each other, practice, dust off an old Star Wars game and have a lot of fun with your Clanmates. If you’re interested, email Bob for some more information and let him know what games you play and when you’re likely to be free.

As far as competitions go, you’re lucky, lucky people. There are a number of competitions for you to take part in at the moment, including the very first one I have ever run. It’s called ‘The Morning After’ and it’s solely for members of the Jade Serpents.

It’s a completely humourous, light hearted affair. The story is that our team has been away on some kind of horribly dangerous mission. Upon our return, I, being a criminally minded Sergeant, have stolen a Bottle of Sadow from my Master to provide us all with alcoholic refreshment.

What is a Bottle of Sadow, you ask? This is!

Booze!

Your task is to describe the debauchery and horror that occurs as a result of my thievery. How drunk do we get? How badly do we trash the planet? Does somebody go joyriding on a tauntaun? I’ll be judging your entries based on how funny they are. Only entry thus far is from Bob – write something and show him how it’s done!

As I mentioned earlier – Shikyo is heading a run on to help get Journeymen like yourselves used to them. Email him, Bob and Ashura and go keep Marcus company.

There’s also a Clan wide run on happening, as a prequel to the Clan Feud that will be heading our way in a little while. You should all get involved, as Clan Feuds are a whole lot of fun. I’m going to be writing my first post tomorrow, and I will happily write you guys in, if you’re nervous. Shoot me an email and let me know a bit about your character and I’ll help you get used to how they work.

PROMOTIONS AND ACHIEVEMENTS

Marcus and Jai completed their character sheets, which is always nice to see.

Cheeto was promoted to the rank of Novice.

Marcus was promoted to the rank of Protector. Well done both of you!

And finally, I got a promotion too, this morning. I’m now a Jedi Hunter.
