My friends,

We’ve had a productive month. Our clan is stable, more stable than it’s been in a long time. We’ve got a RO running, numerous comps on going (see below) and the summit has been kicking ass on the Prospectus. Big thanks to Etah, Tim and Lego for pwning it in the face. Speaking of the summit, I have some changes to announce. Timeros only took on QUA as a stand-in until a more suitable candidate could be found, and we didn’t have time to train anyone up during the war. In this capacity, he has been brilliantly successful in training up Etah to take on the mantle of Quaestor of Galeres. Tim’s RL is heating up and he’d prefer to work behind the scenes, and has asked to step down, as he and I are in complete agreement: Etah is ready. Please join me firstly in thanking Timeros for stepping in when the clan needed him most, and also in congratulating Etah on attaining Quaestor, and wishing him the best of luck in his new office!

As Etah is moving up from Aedile to Quaestor, we’ve decided that we’ll just use one of the applicants from the recent HQD AED applications – namely, DJK Zakath aka Ninj! I’ve known him longer than I care to remember and have worked with him numerous times in the past – he’s highly competent, well-liked in the clan, and an able leader – He will complement Etah perfectly.

Lol, déjà vu. As Ninj is moving up from Clan Rollmaster, we have a vacancy there, however ever the sacrificing Timeros has volunteered to head up our welcoming-the-newbies front – it’ll also keep him on the summit as an advisor, as his input is always readily appreciated as a former Consul of the First Clan (damn I love saying that).

Speaking of Aediles, Sang has also joined us from Clan Plagueis as our new HQD Aedile and will be learning under our resident zen master Legorii, and hopefully helping a little bit along the way too =P

Last but not least, Zandro’s RL has been heating up and he had to step down as SF BTL, so JH Celahir has been chosen to follow in his size 10 shoes.

Comps:

Strat and Tim got drunk, had a sing-song and decided to plan out a summer of activities for you fine, upstanding citizens so all summer we’ll be seeing a variety of inventive, fun competitions from them such as the Hunt the Jedi Comp currently running, the Who Said That? Comps that Celahir won last week etc.

There’s also a RO just starting up that I’ll keep going over the summer, so please please PLEASE participate, or I’ll kill you with my brain.

Ninj has been running a really cool fiction comp regarding loyalty, which I also encourage you all to participate in – I know I will be.

Tasks:

The prospectus has been a big deal for the clan and I’ve been doing a fair bit of approving/denying on that, as well as sorting summit shit out. The RO plot has already been worked out and will prove to be really interesting – however I’ve also got some fictional expansion in the pipeline later this summer, you’ll see how and why in my next report ;)

RL:

Heh, currently job-hunting, but otherwise a lot of free time at the moment (apart from Tuesday evening, when Zandro and I will be going out, getting very, very drunk and generally making tits of ourselves) so plenty of time for DB stuff.
