Yeah, I know. I've been scarce with my reports in the last month. I apologize for that, but to say that my timetable's been hectic would be a grossly severe understatement. That, and I got awful lazy at times. Props to Baron for keeping things going, though.

On to news! Since there's a lot to cover, I'll just touch briefly on each point.

First and foremost, and quite the obvious. Shadow stepped down as Consul (most likely to go back to his hermit ways) and Halcyon Rokir aka Halcyon Taldrya now has the top spot. Sklib, upon immediately being fired (hehe!) was just recently replaced by Vodo Biask Taldrya. Sounds like a cheap Viagra knock-off.

That leads directly into my second tidbit of news: Vodo, Vlad, Halc, and myself have all been given the prestigious award of being given the Clan Name. Yes, we're all four of us Taldrya now. Amazing, innit? I think so, at least.

The Fiction Tribune office is working with the CLans to step up the quality of the DB's overall fictional backstory and general quality. Lokasena Corvinus is Taldryan's Assisstant Clan Loremaster thingy. He works with Halc and Eludajae Dominatrix Wannabe (the Fiction Tribune) to come up with spiffy Taldryan stuff. Spiffy.

I'm almost falling asleep here, so I'll finish this off quickly. The MAA's 'Titles and Honorifics' policy has been updated, along with a newest revision of the Journeymen Promotion Requirements. The SA has ditched the crappy term of Ecclectic Pedagogs (or as I like to call them 'Epileptic Puppydogs') and has now utilized Professors in Departments. It's...kinda too realistic in my opinion. I don't need to bounce between two Universities; I'm good with one as it is. Also there's some kind of SA Journeymen competitio, so make sure to check that out. Erinyes is still alive and kicking apparently, as is the Antei Combat Centre, so that's good. Kir was out playing fake Judge again, and I guess he got gave-happy, cuz some idiot who got caught with clones was wtfpwnd.

Promotions:

• Apprentice Imi Semly was promoted to Novice. Whoo.

• The newest newcomer (see what I did there?) Xiarr Drakar pretty much leapt from Apprentice to Acolyte within a week due to exploding with activity as soon as he joined. Good work, Xiarr!

• Protector Noctis Lucis Caelum was promoted to Guardian. Keep up the good work!

Awards:

• GRD Noctis Lucis Caelum got a Sapphire Crescent, an Emerald Crescent and a Topaz Crescent. Geez.

• GRD Adrian Agrippa got an Emerald Crescent.

• PRT Silenius got a Quartz Crescent.

We got plenty of those going.

House Dinaari

• Domius Sicarius - It's back. Every month the summit of Dinaari will choose one member of the House to lead their personal bodyguard - this member will be selected based on their contributions to the House in terms of activity based on an objective standard to be determined by Dinaari's Quaestor and Aedile. Not a lot at this time for Dinaari, but some are in the works. Reaaallly!

I'm about to explode.

My classes barely leave me enough energy to fart, much less do anything else. I just got a job last week which (thankfully) isn't that demanding, and now I can stop worrying about my cash flow problems. At least until I develop a hooker, drug, or alcohol obsession. (Or all three.) And the way things are going, I just might. To top it all off, I tried to load up Guild Wars tonight to relax a lil' bit, and found out my account was banned/deleted permanently. I...was at a loss for words, especially seeing how I haven't played for over a month. I was within an inch of going absolutely bonkers; I still might, actually. Tick tock and all that.

If I'm especially antagonizing or it seems like I'm avoiding the DB...it might be cuz I am. The last thing I need right now is to be bogged down with silly everyday DB drama. Newbs'n'all: Baron (teh AED dudez) is your primary contact until mid August, when my classes end. Until then, I wish everyone burns in Hell. :P
