Greetings,

This is my first report as Aedile for House Ektrosis. I would like to say how excited I am to be able to hold such a position and to work with the other fine leaders to help make this the best house in the Dark Jedibrotherhood. I would like to thank most of all, Quaestor Sidarace for the chance to serve and I promiss I will not let you down. So far we all have been doing a wonderful job and good things are unfolding for the house. There are several projects we are working on, the main project I have been working on is the Shadow Academy Class: Clan Taldryan History. I have been compiling information and working with the clan leaders to make this class something we all can be proud of. I will inform all when this is done and when it gets final approval from the summit and DC staff. I will not be rushing through this just to get it up. I want to make sure everyone agrees on the class content and it is "very professional".

On to other news,

I have sent out an email to the members who hold the rank of Acolyte or below with the guidelines for obtaining a promotion. If you did not recieve that email please let me know and I will be happy to send it to again. As for those who got it, it is simple and easy to move up in rank and a few of you have already be blessed with that new rank. Congrats to you all, Please keep your eyes on your email for future announcements.

The Enemy

The road to becoming a dark jedi is not pleasant, hardships and threats always lining the road.

To become what you are today, you are defined as much by the challenges you have faced as anything else that may have occurred in your life. Who, or what, in your life has truly stood in your way? What is the threat that haunts you to this day? What has been the largest obstacle in your life and have you been able to defeat it or does it continue to claw at you?

Write a story on your personal "enemy", whatever shape or form it may take. The story should be at least one page long, single-spaced in 12-point Times New Roman or Arial font.

A look at the past

Ektrosis's past has long since been carried on through the generations. From the insane Krath Adept, to the prominent Sith Lord. A tradition far too long forgotten by the current, cast into the shadows by the young and naive.

From the distance, a cry has been heard from the shadows that separate the young members of Ektrosis from their distant past, calling for reform. To be heard once more. To be re-breathed into life. Can you hear its call?

This is a Fiction competition for the members of Ektrosis. You are tasked with taking 1 of the following 2 story lines and creating a 2 page (Minimum) fiction entry.

Story lines to chose from:

1) Before the first fall of the Empire, it was said Ektrosis crossed a barrier of the Dark Side that even Palpatine himself would not dare cross. Resolve: Given the outline above, write IC on what took place to cause such a rumor to start.

2) Being lead by the dark Jedi Shaitan, Ektrosis stumbled upon the Dark Jedi Brotherhood, and quickly became allies with the large, similar minded cult. Resolve: Write IC of Shaitan, the former leader of Ektrosis, and what took place during the treaty between Ektrosis and the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. An example of how to write this would be to write it in the format of a history record that the Lord Shaitan wrote.

Given the link to Ektrosis's Wiki (See below in, 'Platforms') take what you can and create a fiction story.
