Rite of Supremacy in January

The Rite of Supremacy is a vendetta meaning although it has Clan placements; it focuses on individual contributions. At its conclusion we will get a list of each person’s placement, rather than just the top 10, which gives you all the more reason to shine. We deserve this victory as a Clan and doing so will put the specter of Taldryan dominance to rest. It bears to mention that this win will not be nearly as easy as our last. Taldryan will attempt to regroup, CSP will attempt to take what it considers its rightful place in the winners circle and the other Clan’s might attempt an upset.

In the 9th Great Jedi War our gamers and ACCers dominated, our fiction was mediocre, our poetry and graphics were for participation only and were not numerous enough, our battle plan while tactically sound got out prettied and our RO was dead last. In the Rite of Supremacy our gamers and ACCers will have to murder harder, our fiction will have to place, nearly everyone will have to enter crappy art and poetry (a few placing wouldn’t hurt), our RO has to dominate and our BP or whatever other smaller comps need to be awesome. I don’t mean to sound demanding, I just think we’re epic and the rest of the Brotherhood needs to see that.

Dash Steps Down

After just shy of two years in the position, Sashar Arconae has stepped down as Consul. Having come to power amidst predictions of doom for the Clan for his supposed divisiveness, he was subject to the Chamber of Justice for antagonistic gestures made while Proconsul and still managed to ascend to the position of Lord Consul where he (made Arcona the only clan than cultivates obscenities and) built up a base within the Clan so solid that despite losing a Proconsul and both Quaestors, he was still able to lead the clan in a historic victory over the Clan Taldryan (Sometimes called Tally, otherwise known as Sally; because we made them our bitch).

Dash has returned to his home in the Soulfire Strike Team and continues to be an invaluable advisor to all levels of the Summit. The Summit of the House Galeres officially thanks you for your service and your contributions and looks forward to working with you in the future.

Strat is Consul

Some douchewaffle with a weird greek name became Consul (the S one, not the L one). I think he’s French or American or something like that. The greek name points to a fascination with anal sex.

Galeres Today

Is two things: a sleeping giant and in transition. Soulfire is even more vibrant today than it was during the 9th Great Jedi War where it led Arcona to a stunning victory and Blue Mist has been stripped to its foundation and is preparing to be rebuilt. We are transitioning to the Shadesworn training scheme, and our first dedicated Shadesworn Pair who have taken to calling themselves ‘Dark Curse’ has been more successful in fulfilling the programs original goals that we could have hoped for.

Galeres is a sleeping giant because although we are present, we are not remarkably active, but that is a calculated move from the House Summit (namely me). One of the difficulties in being in leadership is walking the fine line between not over working your people and under working them to the point of irrelevance. In both circumstances, people tend to fade away and or leave out of protest. I think we have done a fine job of walking that line and I think we’ll all see that in upcoming events.
