_The Sith Battlemaster stepped in the new office and took a moment to look around. Framed moving holocrons of previous occupants lined one wall with a descriptive plaque below each. A smile came to her face remembering special things about each. Those Quaestors who welcomed her on joining the Dark Brotherhood such as Dakari Palpatine. The most rememberable had been Thran Occasus, Angelo Dante and Ric 'Blade' Hunter. Each of them had major differences in character for which the hologram defined quiet clearly.
Thran was a true diplomat. He continued to make things happen, like commissioning a castle to be built. Dante, although his time was short lived as Quaestor, he took the job on very smoothly. When Thran moved up and into the Clan Summit, Dante took the steps necessary to lead the house. The next set of pictures to the right made Hawk almost laugh out loud. A man having very different traits from the others, Ric 'Blade' Hunter. Taters was a wonderful mentor and a great friend to Hawk. He was the one who prepared her the most for command, he was almost like a father to her. A father she never really had.
Placing her "Night Bringer" sword in the sword rack provided and the pauldron, the "Sacred Pauldron of Dorimad Sol" , on a hook next to that. Both awarded to her having become a member of, the once, elite Battle Team Blades of Chaos. Hawk went to the desk and began unpacking. A series of 'chirrups' sounded on the display to her right. Two messages appeared and one from the honourable Emperor himself. Immediately Hawk pressed the screen to open the video message.
"Hawk, you must get yourself a second in command." He sounded with a tone recognized by all. "This is your first priority, put out a request for applications immediately."
Giving a quick sigh, the new Quaestor ran her finger across the bottom of the screen to advance to the next message. Xan Kaeth appeared on the screen with exasperated breath he spoke quickly.
"My Lady Marchioness." Commotion in the background slightly detracted her. "I would have liked to have shared a congratulatory drink with you, but as you can see...ouch!" A duffel bag thwacks him in the head. "I am busy sorting out the problem with the over crowding in the Apprentices quarters. If you would be so kind to join me when you are done any estate business and give me a hand that would be appreciated."
Hawk turned off the message, smirked and began immediately writing the application for house Aedile announcement._

I had about a page and a half written up but it has come to my attention that I am not allowed to post it as it conflicts with other DB Rules. All I can say instead. House Dorimad Sol, please either get stuff done that you require to be promoted or at least if you are an equite or elder. **Costuming:
**All my work paid of. The long tedious hours of cutting, sewing, painting, gluing had finally produced some amazing results for my costumes. Both events that I went to showed many others dressed up and all sorts of characters, monsters and other things. Months and months of work was put into all of them....some not so much.

This year was the second time that I went to this event. I thought it ran okay, but some of my local 501st were upset and I can understand why. The long time, effort and money they spent was wasted because communication was screwy and things got interupted and other events got poor results because of said lack of comminication. Other then that I think all had fun. It was my Birthday on the first day and because we had to walk all over Toronto to get to one place, my blood sugar dropped. I spent my Birthday pretty sick and I wasn't really with it when they sung Happy Birthday. You know I still havent had cake. I think the best thing was when a freind bought me the Margarita sampler.
Dragon Con :
I didn't get to do all the panels (not even one) which I was really hoping to do, but having being stuck almost 3 hours in line to get my pre-registered ticket, through me off. Although I did get a couple of Autographs those included Anthony Daniels and Peter Mayhew who are really rather nice. Overall most of my time was spent dressing up in my Zam Wessel, my Visas Marr and as my Dark Jedi Brotherhood Blizzard robes. Come onto IRC if you want to see some photos.
September:
I hope to get my brochure done for my business and get it off the ground. I hate not having money, you can do anything fun, including eat :P Keep you posted.
