ADDENDUM

Dood Gay wooms!

Some interesting things happened this past week. In particular, I’m

sure everybody’s busy with damned classes starting up. I know I am and

I’m not happy about it! The semester is supposed to be relaxing-time

. Oh well, maybe it will slow down.

NEWS

Should be a particularly good couple of weeks for the Battleteam.

Runofi and Welshy are working together to strengthen its role within

the house and the clan.

Combat master got shiny new graphics which proceeded to violently burn

out my eyes in a similar way to music videos from the 1980s.

Runofi and I have been quasi-working on a way to make our house stand

out more in terms of fiction. This has been put on a backburner for

the moment but be on the look out for some changes coming up in the

future.

This isn’t a normal section of my reports but since Vai is on LOA it

will be included this week.

Brotherhood Comps

Trivia for Everyone!

I will host standard SW/DB trivia in #db at random times in an effort

to encourage more IRC usage and generally just increase the fun level

online. The trivia sessions will always be at least 15 questions long,

potentially more if I'm feeling frisky.

A Picture is Worth 1000 Words

Or so they say, the competition is simple, there is a picture I have

placed online, and you go to it and look at it and write a star wars

story based on the picture you see. The catch is this; it has to be

1000 words, not 999, not 1001. Let’s see if the age old adage of a

picture is worth a thousand words is true.

Brotherhood Puzzle Master

This is going to be a series of 4 puzzles, each will have approximately

2 weeks time for people to attempt. The puzzles will test knowledge

about the Brotherhood, Star Wars, and Star Wars related Media.

Vault of Knowledge

The Aedile in his gracious spirit has decided that he will be adding a

trivia question to his report to the house that will be posted on the

4th Sunday of each month.

This trivia question can come from anywhere in the Star Wars universe

and will be designed to test your knowledge and research abilities. You

will have 1 month to answer these questions.

First person to successfully answer the question will be awarded a

Legion of the Scholar.

Every Cestian has a story, though many are unwilling to tell it. In

whatever setting you choose (a tavern, your private quarters, an

interrogation chamber - the possibilities are endless), write an in

character monologue. It can be about your character's childhood, a

recent tragedy, or just something on your mind that's either bothering

or enraging your character. Whatever it is, write an original, gripping

monologue/speech that exemplifies who your character is...and just who

she/he may wish to become. Awards will be given based on creativity,

personality, and mechanical structure.

Race for Fire

While Cestus is a house of stories and necromancy, it is also a place

for fighters and pilots. Over the course of one month, points will be

tallied for the top three members who have received the most Clusters

of Fire. These CoFs may be earned through gaming or through fighting

Quick Skirmishes in the ACC.
