-- The big Battle Team Revamp is just about finished now, so here's the details on that. Vodo and I decided that we needed to squash the number of teams down to two in light of the recent AWOL check, and Erin will continue her roll as Battle Team Leader, but will be transferring from The Horsemen of the Apocalypse to Phoenix. Zasati and Swifty both will no longer be serving as BTL's, and filling in the gap will be none other than Light Yagami. Yagami has shown a lot of enthusiasm and we look forward to seeing him grow as a leader in his House and Clan.
-- The run on is in progress, and if you wish to participate and haven't already, send an email to Vodo and myself and we'll get you started. This run on will be a huuuuge help in medals/promotions for Journeymen, and the Summit highly recommends it. We will give each member tips on how to improve, so don't be worried about participating if you're not sure your skills are up to par. That is what this is for!

[Ektrosis] Haiku Contest

Simple enough. Participants write a haiku pertaining to the House, Clan, or Brotherhood in some way. It can be funny, serious, doesn't matter.
Remember, a haiku is a short poem (that does not need to rhyme) that has five syllables in the first line, seven in the second, and five in the third.
Entries will be graded based on form, content, and quality.

Starting Sunday, August 3rd, the Ektrosis Trivia League begins! Every week, the Summit will sponsor either an IRC or email-based trivia similar to the old Shadow Academy trivia. The first two weeks I, Sklib, will run the show and make sure everything works out the way it's supposed to.
The trick here is a cumulative score will be kept for the duration of the month. At the end of the month, the Ektrosians with the highest cumulative scores will earn themselves 4th level crescents for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Weekly awards are the usual Legion of the Scholar for the top two scores in that week as well as the moderator of the trivia.

Wow, so much going on right now! The big events to pay attention to are the BTL swaps and the run on going on right now. Participate in the House and Clan competitions, there sure are plenty of them!
