Dark Greetings Tridens,

Not much to report this week except there are quite a few new competitions out for the clan, three currently running and one Skirmish comp starting in three days. I want to also emphasize doing the house competitions, and remember today is the last day to submit to the Costume Bash, you have until 11:59pm EST.

For those who game and want someone to challenge for the clan’s gaming-skirmish or any other gaming competitions in the future you can challenge me in either Jedi Outcast, EaW, Republic Commando, or Battle Front. Just find me in IRC or challenge by E-mail.

Today, 11th the October is my birthday and as of today I'm 22 years old. So today is also Frosty's (the character) day so I'd like to see what presents would he receive from his subordinates in Tridens.

Halloween Costume Bash

You are invited to a Halloween costume bash and are asked to come in your most elaborate and crazy Star Wars or Dark Brotherhood style custom costume. At the end of the night there will be a costume contest to choose the top three costumed partygoers. Costumes will be judged on originality, humor, and design. Competition entries can be in the form of a graphic or written description.

Most of us have had people disrespect, bully, or otherwise take advantage of us in the past. Maybe we didn't have the power to defend ourselves back then, but we do now. Write a story about an instance where your character gets revenge on someone who hurt them before they joined the Brotherhood and learned to use the Force. Submissions will be judged on creativity, originality, and grammar. Two page minimum, no maximum.

Consul Mustard in the Corsair with the Vibroblade

You awake to a state of panic throughout the Tarentum houses. Grabbing your closest weapon, you race to the conference room where people are gathering. The holographic image of your Proconsul is plain to see. The news: Your Consul has been brutally murdered. Your task is to write a horror/mystery story. Include how the Consul died, how you go about finding who killed him, and any sort of horror elements you come across along the way - whether you be stalked by the killer or end the whole story in a twist. Here's the catch - you must begin the story with this line:

"You have got to be kidding me!"

And you must end the story with this line:

"And then I ate him. On a sesame bun. With a side of onion rings."

The story must be at least half a page long.
