Quaestor Report #8

Well it is safe to say that each week for me just seems to be completely bi-polar as far as schedule goes. It seems the same thing can be said for all of you, so I will spare the babbling and get on with it. I just want to say that I have passed the 6’ growth mark and I am happy! Only taken me (technically) 4 years, but I got there ;)

The Taldryan Times is getting ready to launch on the 5th of November (Domination Day), along with the announcement of the Taldryan Tallys (Think the Oscars just better). Since both of these are Taldryan member based, It is IMPERATIVE that you send both Nominations picks and Taldryan Times submissions to Vodo and Crix. The TT (Taldryan Times) could use some more submissions, so keep them coming! What is needed is but is not limited too:

-Humorous News items

-Graphics/comics

-Interviews

Medals:

-Dark Jedi Knight Anubis Annedu was awarded a Legion of the Scholar for placing 1st in week 1 of #taldryan Trivia. <3 noobis long time.

- Krath Epis Bubbles Taldrya was awarded a hefty Steel Cross for her awesome work as BTL.

- Grand Master Report was released. Inside Muz announced the new Clan Powers. Taldryan picked Phase (A new power allowing you to pass through objects) and Cryokenesis (Freezing things). As Muz stated they will be updated on the CS’s shortly, but here is Muz’s report to read for yourself: here

- Korras is running a competiton. It’s called ‘Restock the GM’s booze’. Details for it can be found here.

-The Shadow Academy is looking for; a Professor of Coding and a Docent of Poetry. If you are interested, then I highly encourage you to apply.

- If you signed up for any of the Fiction Tribunes RPG’s, then your group has started and it is time to get kicking with that! To be honest, I have not had much time to look into it, but from what I can tell if you like the ACC then you will like this system.

- A new Right Hand of Justice was chosen, and that lucky candidate is current Praetor to the Headmaster Taigikori Aybara Dupar. This guy must have done some “extra-work” wink to get this position from Kir. Wink again

-Seneschal report was released. Orv has taken over the Taldryan.net domain. In short everything is the same save the fact that the DB has part ownership of the site. <3 Ben long time, and Orv rocks my socks off.

Well, I pulled an all nighter Friday night with a couple of my buddies. We had an Xbox, CoD4, CoD5, A HUGE amount of Mountain Dew (Voltage if you must know, which is liquid gold), and a party-size box of Cheezits. Needless to say, we got to level 31 on Nazi Zombies (Only allowed two people as it was not over the internet and we only had three controls – odd numbers ftl). After level 29 it just becomes the kind of thing where you stick to one corner with the PPSH (Big automatic machine gun) and the Trench Gun (6 slug round shotgun with a bayonet) and hold the trigger button down and hope that when you have to reload you won’t die. =P

I’m still seeing Zombies in form fitting uniforms charging at me with glowing yellow eyes.

And with that, I would like to now do something that has not been done in the past 4 months: Open up applications for Battleteam Leader of Phoenix.

Bubbles, Starrett and myself have come to the discussion to open up the apps to allow for some new blood to come in and learn the basics of leadership in all of its glory. I myself was never a BTL, but a lot of your current leadership WAS at one point or another. I’m not going to make a goodbye speech to Bubbsy Wubbsy just yet as she still has a couple of weeks left in her tenure, so I will save the tear jerking until then.

As for now, however, the requirements are as follows. (Note: These are what I would like to see, though if you do not meet EVERY requirement, don’t beat yourself, apply. I know what you all are like, and I know none of you have all of these requirements ).

•Maintaining a Battleteam website with roster, events, etc

•Run competitions within and outside the team

•Forward any communications from higher in the command chain to team members

•Report to the House Summit on a regular basis

•Make promotion and/or award recommendations for members where appropriate (While consulting the QUA and AED)

•Set an example, both in conduct and activity (ie. following the set requirements towards conduct, participating in competitions, on message boards, etc)

•Promote competitions and other events within the Dark Brotherhood

•Must be the minimum rank of Protector (PRT) and the highest rank of Dark Jedi Knight (DJK)

•

I would like you to include what you plan on doing in the first 30 days as Tetrarch of Phoenix. I am looking for a serious application and must be at least half a page long. Spelling is not required but it will only help. Don’t be nervous – apply.

All applications should be sent to Starrett and Myself no later than the 9th of November (2 weeks from now). Past leadership is not required in the slightest. I hope to see your applications soon!

Also, don’t forget to compete in those competitions! They will only help you with your promotion requirements!
