New Governor creates Governor Security Force

Fremoc Pepoi, after only being in office a couple days, created the Governor Security Force. This Force is to be handpicked by the Governor and the Governor only. They are supposed to be providing security for the Governor and his family. Currently we only know that the person leading the GSF, is Severus L’eonheart.

Fremoc sat at his new desk looking over the newspaper article that he had a hand in creating. Teu stood next to him, not saying a word, but her Force presence was brighter than Orian Prime and Corvanni Prime put together. His wife had not said a word since she came into the office, since Fremoc was reading over some paperwork, including the article. He stopped for a moment and turned to her, “Sweetheart, take a look at this article. I have the best cover for the Night Raptors.”

The Governor handed her the article, giving him the chance to explore deeper, as to why the young woman was so happy. His eyes widened as he found out it was not her that was putting out the large Force presence, but something growing inside her. He stood and walked to the front of his desk.

“This looks great to me, but Fremmy I have some amazing news.” Teu came over to him as he turned towards her.

“I know Teu,” he covered his lips with his index and middle finger. “It’ll be our secret for-”

“Fremoc what is it?” concern came through her voice. Her husband’s face had gone from a soft happy expression, to a battle hardened face with nothing on it but then turned into a smirk.

Suddenly a snap-hiss came from behind Fremoc and a blue blade, came from the ceiling above the two Pepoi. The Aedile, without looking activated his own blue lightsaber and blocked the attacking lightsaber. A second snap hiss came from behind Fremoc as well, but an attack never came. Fremoc turned and faced his attacker, to find Ekeia holding her blood red lightsaber at the attacker’s neck.

“Easy Ekeia. So what in Marka Ragnos’ name gives you the idea that you can attack me Kano?” asked the Governor. Ekeia deactivated her lightsaber and moved back away from the Master and Apprentice.

“Just make sure you haven’t become soft on me, Master. Bob sent me here saying the Raptors are now guarding your butt.”

“This is true, but it’s a cover as well. Remember what I told you? We always have a cover for everything we do.”

“Yes, I remember Master. Where’s the HQ? I need to report in.”

“Sub-basement level 2. Severus is your commander. It’s good to have you back Kano.” The two shook hands before Kano bowed, leaving the office. “And Kano? Next time, knock. Ekeia might not be so nice next time.”

Kano smiled, “Yes, Master.”

Nothing too major has happened in the past week in terms of announcements, but there are a few none the less.

First off, Tyren has resigned and currently Manji and Taig are looking for a new clan RM. They opened the apps for the entire DB, but they will be looking for CNS apps more heavily than those outside the Clan. So get your apps in and become the new Clan RM, and the Captain of the Black Guard.

Secondly on 6th of November we celebrated the Day of the Fox. For those of you that haven’t been around a while, that was the day GM Firefox rose to power. Months later, the DB broke away from the EH, becoming our own entity instead of the EHDB. Also on this day, selected members of the DB, are given Seals of Loyalty. Congrats goes out to Bob, Malisane, and Dyrra for earning these Seals.

Thirdly, as I stated in my fiction, Kano has returned from his time in the Army. Which by the way have I ever told you all what ARMY stands for? Ain’t Ready to be Marines Yet. :P Sorry, this is what happens when you live in a family where there have been 3 generations of my family in the Marine Corp. A lot of esprit de corps, going on.

As stated earlier in the weekend, the Night Hawks have now become the Equite only battle team, where those Equites that are not so active can reside. Right now the Raptors are the prime battle team, since anyone can join it if they want. Only problem is that there are only 3 spots remaining on the battle team. Also as I stated in my lovely fiction, the Raptors have a new cover story as to why they are stationed in the Mansion, is because they are the Governor Security Force.

So this past weekend I was on a bit of an LOA due to the fact that I was in the middle of no where PA, and didn’t know if I would have internet. But, I am now a certified diver, and come next summer I’m going out there again to get my advanced diver certification and Rescue Diver certification. Whoo!
